Best fans on the market hands down

Noctua fans are unmatched and for a reason. I was using Lian Li SL120v2 fans for quite some time but I realized that I wasnt even using the RGB on the fans so I figured why not upgrade to something better. Noctua did not disappoint. You dont really realize what a good quality fan is until you actually hold one of these things. They are SOLID. Down to the premium packaging, the cables extensions, the splitters, and the little details. They put a thing paper on the edges of the inside of the fans so they dont spin during shipping and potentially ruin the bearings on the fans. This is the kind of thing that brings me back as a customer. On top of that these things CHUCK air and are the quietest fans hands down. Period. If you are on the fence about these fans because of the price tag, I promise that you wont be disappointing. Thanks Noctua!

Excellent fans

These fans are quite expensive, but the quality matches the price. They're very efficient and quiet. I used them as exhaust fans at the back and top of my computer case, and I have to say they're inaudible yet very efficient. I recommend them.

Amazingly silent and great airflow

m genuinely impressed with these Noctua fans. The first thing you notice is how incredibly quiet they are—even under load, they remain barely audible. It’s a huge upgrade if you’re aiming for a silent or near-silent build. At the same time, the airflow is excellent. Temperatures dropped noticeably compared to my previous fans, without any increase in noise. That balance between cooling performance and silence is where Noctua really stands out. Build quality is also top-tier. The materials feel premium, installation is straightforward, and the included accessories (like vibration pads and extension cables) are actually useful. They’re not the cheapest option, but you absolutely get what you pay for. If you care about silence, reliability, and performance, these are worth every euro.

Great fan, quiet and good airflow, nice accessories

I got this fan to replace the stock 120mm fan on an AIO water cooling system. The design of the Noctua G2 fan is perfect for this application, since it's design helps with static pressure and keeping airflow up through a radiator without adding a ton of noise. At 1800rpm this fan is very slightly louder than the fan it replaced that ran at only 1500rpm, however Noctua included a short fan speed/noise reduction cable extension that would drop the top speed of the fan down closer to 1500rpm which would also reduce noise. In operation with the computer fully loaded with a stress test, this fan dropped my cpu temperatures by about 5C which is really good for just a fan swap. The fan came with a few really nice accessories too. Each corner of the fan has a little rubber mounting insert to reduce vibration noise, and Noctua also included a full size rubber seal that goes around the entire fan to help it seal up better against water cooling radiators. I used this seal, and installation was very simple. All fan cables were nicely sleeved to improve the looks of the wiring. The packaging also included the fan speed/noise reducing cable extension, a plain fan cable extension, and a fan cable extension with Y-splitter. There were a few other items as well, such as mounting screws and some rubber mounting pins that could be used instead of screws when mounting to a metal case as an intake or exhaust fan. All in all it was a very nice accessory package and it at least partially explains the premium cost of the fan. The only real drawback to this fan was the price - At the price I paid, it was actually more expensive than the entire AIO cooler I am using it on and that's not awesome. Still, I wanted more cooling performance than I was getting with the original AIO fan and this Noctua G2 fan certainly performed up to my expectations. Recommended!

Sehr leise und trotzdem ordentlich Leistung

Ich bin mit dem NF-A12x25 G2 sehr zufrieden. Ich verwende einen einzelnen davon zusammen mit dem Doppelpack und einem Noctua NH-D12L in meinem selbstgebauten Server-Rack. Die Lüfter lassen sich sehr gut über PWM regeln und bleiben bei normalen Drehzahlen wirklich angenehm leise. Gleichzeitig ist genug Luftdurchsatz vorhanden, um die Hardware vernünftig zu kühlen. Auch die Verarbeitung und das mitgelieferte Zubehör sind, wie ich es von Noctua kenne, sehr ordentlich. Was die Lautstärke angeht, bin ich besonders zufrieden. Mein kompletter Server mit den Noctua-Lüftern und dem NH-D12L ist so leise, dass die verbauten HDDs teilweise deutlicher zu hören sind als die eigentliche Kühlung. Genau so hatte ich mir das für mein Server-Rack vorgestellt: gute Kühlleistung, aber trotzdem ein System, das nicht permanent durch laute Lüfter auffällt.
