It’s a monster in the best way!
I freaking love this board!! I have an i7 265 Ultra cpu w/ liquid cooling, 64gb 6400 ram, amd rx6600, and several gen5 nvme drives in it (only 1 gen5 drive actually works at that speed) It’s been so stable regardless of what I throw at it. And I beat the hell out of it with a variety of cpu, gpu, and ram intensive tasks from app dev to DAW work. Never a bluescreen so far on Windows 10/11 and several flavours of Linux. Yes, it’s really expensive, but line the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Three thumbs up 👍👍👍
Excellent board! but has some odd design choices.
generally i tent to avoid msi boards from old past experiences but as of recently i havent had any good luck with my usual contender asus, and gigabyte didnt have the features i needed so i figured it give this a try. so far its been solid! i specifically got this cause it has a ton of usb ports and has a 10gb Ethernet connection. i use this to connect directly to another high end computer so i can pass very large files between them for rendering videos. wile it works great there was some puzzling design choices that this board has. 1. theirs only one cpu fan connector. im not sure why it didnt have a cpu opt connector which every high end board ive bought usually has. its not a big deal i used a splitter to get the two connectors i needed. 2. the cpu power connectors are on the other side of the board. my case doesnt have a hole on that side so i had to wrap it around to get it connected. 3. No cr2032 bios battery? this is the most puzzling of all. ive never seen a board with out a bios battery. i took all the covers off trying to find it but it just doesnt exist. the only thing i can think of is its under the sheild for the rear usb ports if they put that there its gonna be a pain to replace it. one other minor complaint is i couldnt install the board without removing the back shield plate. but to be fair the case i installed it in to is over 12 years old. so ill be needing getting a new one but even with out the back place and thermal pads the temps still stays between 50c to 60c at full load on the board in the spot the thermal pads were. but im sure they were there for a reason and id rather not blow out the board prematurely. despite all the that im still giving this board 5 stars as it does feel well built and works without a hiccup so far. Recommended.
Its overpowered, I've never experienced a motherboards like this ....ever!!
Best motherboard i have ever had the privaledge to own...simplify everything easy to build with and looks fantastic and the ten gig internet port chef kiss...and a hug that every port is 10gig I bought this for 500 new...worth every penny
Top tier no complaints
Beautiful top tier mother board. Have no issues whatsoever ever . Easy installation, great looking board great performance as expected from MSI love my purchase.
