Amazing

I recently picked up the 500Hz 1440p QD-OLED monitor mainly for competitive shooters, and honestly it’s been one of the best hardware purchases I’ve made. The motion clarity at 500Hz is unreal — tracking fast targets feels effortless, and everything just looks incredibly smooth and responsive. Input latency feels basically nonexistent, which makes a noticeable difference in high-level competitive play. What I love most is how natural it feels in actual gameplay. It’s not just a spec-sheet upgrade — it genuinely improves the experience and consistency in fast shooters. Once you use a display like this, it’s very hard to go back. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. It’s expensive, but for competitive gaming it absolutely delivers and feels worth every penny.

Flawless motion and vibrant colours, but lacking DP 2.1 for the price.

I bought this msi 500Hz QD-OLED monitor to replace my 24 inch 240hz ips panel, and it has completely changed my perception of what a gaming monitor could look like. pros: Going from 240hz to 500Hz is a seriously noticeable step up, and anyone saying you can't see the difference is just wrong. Combined with the instant pixel response times of an OLED, games like Valorant and Overwatch feel impossibly smooth, completely eliminating any motion blur or trailing. It also makes watching movies and anime a much better experience, as the deep dark scenes and vibrant colours pop beautifully compared to ips/tn panels. In terms of setting the monitor up the process was very straightforward, only having to plug in the necessary power and display port cable. I was also easily able to mount it to a VESA rated dual monitor arm. The design is sleek, the build quality feels premium, and the overall panel depth makes everything else look washed out by comparison. cons: A major annoyance for a monitor at this price tier is the total lack of DisplayPort 2.1. Paying £599 for a flagship display and only getting DP 1.4 is ridiculous, and it really shouldn't be acceptable for the money. You also have to stay on top of OLED care to mitigate the risk of burn-in. The monitor has automatic panel refreshes that pop up every 4 hours, which can be disruptive during long sessions but are necessary to keep the display safe. Finally, I noticed that the panel can be a lot more straining on the eyes during extended desktop or gaming use compared to a standard ips or tn panel, especially if you enjoy gaming with the lights off. verdict: 4 / 5 Honestly, playing on this thing is a massive step up and it genuinely ruined standard screens for me. If you are a competitive gamer who wants the absolute best motion clarity and colours out there, you are going to love the performance. Just keep in mind that you have to live with the potential eye strain and the annoying pop-up panel refreshes, the fact that MSI

Broke twice

It's a good screen. When it works. The first time I bought it, it came with a few dead pixels, so it had to be returned for a replacement. 6 months later, the replacement broke. Glitchy pixel lines started appearing across the middle of the screen, and after I tried to run a pixel refresh, it wouldn't even recognize my laptop when plugged in. Throughout these 6 months, all the MSI pixel care settings were turned on to max, and the monitor was not left on for long hours. Sent back for a full refund. Don't buy from MSI.

Best purchase I have made!

Amazing monitor the refresh rate is ridiculously fast and the OLED panel just makes everything look incredible can’t recommend it enough.
