Fast & Well-Cooled NVMe Enclosure ⚡💾
I’ve been using this with a spare NVMe SSD for file transfers and backups, and the speed is noticeably fast on a Thunderbolt port. The built-in fan helps keep temperatures under control during longer transfers 😊 Pros 👍 1️⃣ High transfer speed ⚡ – Very fast with Thunderbolt-compatible devices. 2️⃣ Active cooling ❄️ – Fan helps prevent overheating under load. 3️⃣ Wide compatibility 🔌 – Works with Mac and USB-C/Thunderbolt setups. Cons 👎 1️⃣ Fan noise 🔊 – Slight noise during heavy use. Overall, a solid option if you need fast and stable external SSD performance 👍
Easy to install!
This NVMe SSD Enclosure is super easy to use. Comes with everything you need to get started other than the SSD. The back cover pops off to install a new drive, no tools necessary there (or if you just want to pop it open to see what's inside for verification purposes). Comes with a nice Thunderbolt cable for connection to your device. Speeds seem solid and data transfers worked smoothly. It's a very solid metal case, should hold up to plenty of use, good for travel. A bit on the expensive side, but it handles very high speeds well which you won't get from cheaper options that I've found. So if maximizing speed is your goal, this is a solid option!
Blazing fast, eye wateringly pricey
I grabbed this to use with a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB NVME which was being bottlenecked by the el cheapo enclosure I had it in. By comparison this thing is built like a tank, the case is machined aluminum and feels rock solid. It is a bit chunky and thicc, but the extra metal acts as a good thermal mass and it will act as a good heat sink when the SSD is under load. Speaking of heat, this also has active cooling via a small and quiet fan which blows air through the inside cooling both the disk and the enclosure's own controller/PCB as well. This case can alllmost max out the high end Samsung drive, as long as the host computer can handle the rates over thunderbolt. It's perfect if you want internal-like speeds with an external drive. This thing is pricey but absolutely awesome if you frequently shuttle media files back and forth. Thumbs up.

The 80Gbps speed's impressive with Thunderbolt 5 support, and the cooling fan's a nice touch for heat management. Would've liked maybe more compatibility info for non-Mac devices but works great with Macs. Would recommend for Mac users needing speedy external storage for big files or editing. The build quality's decent, and it's easy to install the SSD. Works great for expanding storage on MacBook or Mac mini.
