Update: it's been a few weeks, with some hardcore gaming, no smoke, no fires, no failed boots, no shut downs, it's solid, nice not to have to use og cables and extension.. So I have a modular gigabyte ud850gm pg5 PSU, I know that you can't use cables from other PSUs with it, because they are all pinned differently. I looked for hours on videos (jay2cents and others) and tons of sites to see if there is a standard for 12vhpwr cables on modular PSUs and found nothing..But for some stupid reason I decided to use this 12vhpwr cable that says it's designed to go from the PSU to the GPU (not an extension), I even asked the question, can it really go straight into the GPU and be used on my specific PSU.. Well it looks great, stiff as hell (which is good at the connections), and it has yet to burn up my PC or even shut it down. I ran heaven to push it and there was no smoke, I put my fingers around both ends of the connections to see if I could feel excessive heat, I didn't. So though it was stupid to even chance it, it works as of maybe 20 min ago, I'll play some diabloIV tonight and see if that produces any smoke, I'm still pessimistic that it's okay.. If I don't run into any issues, LINKUP is a quality squared company that I will tell others about, I'll give a well done and bump it up a star in couple days or so..

If u looking for a 12VHPWR direct psu to gpu cable with no entagled conection take this 1

1 i was just looking for a 12VHPWR more "better" built then the standard 1 it came with the psu (finished built is a bit to cheap to my taste), 2 i was looking for a non entagle vertion (see v1 of the cable) 3 if i was going to pay for an extra cable may that also be a cool looking cable. So this where my search critirea. i say take it u gona be suprised by the quality/price ^^) i should point out i bougth the vertion 2 of the cable flat vertion, also when i see publicity of good metal quality i just assume either is just publicity or half of what they claim, i can tell i emediatly new its at least decent quality just by the wheigth of the box and u get confimation once u see it out of the box ^^) the fast delivery was just the + off the total experience, i saw a comment that the aspect/manageble of the cable/looking of it is weird trust me the guy just don't understand that better cables also means they are harder to manage in my case i just use the plastic organise it came with (u got 5 already instaled) to strait it up the cable (took 10 secs a just pull and adjust thing)

Trop cher, pas plus qualitatif que bien d'autres cables tissus... Photos trompeuses...

Alors vraiment je ne comprends pas la "Hype" autour de cette marque de cables... C'est terriblement cher pour la qualité et surtout les photos sont trompeuses. On a l'impression que le connecteur à un enjoliveur gris mat assez joli et que le câble est d'une qualité particulière qui le rend supérieur aux autres, mais franchement la déception a été immense à l'ouverture de la boite. L'enjoliveur sur les prises est noir comme le reste du connecteur, c'est juste qui a un effet "martelé" qui donne l'impression qu'il est gris. et je ne vois rien dans ce câble qui justifie de quelque manière que ce soit le tarif... je préfère investir ce prix dans un coude de qualité en métal qui en plus dissipe la chaleur des connecteurs, ca sera de l'argent bien mieux investi...

Required modifications for 3080FE

Plastic around the connector is so bulky it required some trimming for it to fit in my 3080FE. Connector couldn’t make it past the radiator fins next to the plug. Good news is despite that nothing has caught fire yet.
