Buen monitor 1440p
Excelente monitor, con la configuración adecuada de colores estoy bastante agusto con esta compra, a pesar de que los 300 hz o 320 hz no sean necesarios, con poder colocar los 240 hz y disfrutar de la calidad de 1440p basta y sobra
Good Value, power cables are short.
Ordered 3; 1 was defective (the panel would go black intermittently) and was easily replaced through Amazon. The replacement worked well. Oddly enough, one of the two working monitors had a different power cable. Two of the monitors have a thin cable that routes to a thick/fat wall port. The other routes to a block that then has a standard-sized plug. The latter is generally better for power strips. It would be even better if standard PC plugs worked after the block so you can use longer ones if needed for long runs for multi-monitor setups. This is a good value-for-money monitor as long as you keep it in SDR mode and don't need HDR. Without local dimming, it really isn't great. Gaming usually doesn't go well with HDR anyways. HDR isn't certified, at least according to Windows. The white backing doesn't matter if it is against a wall. You can't see any white. Not sure what the point of it was. You can't disable the LEDs when the monitors are in sleep/off; always red. Not great if you need low light and the monitors are in your sleeping area. OSD is fine to use. You use a joystick you can press in. 300hz is the default w/o overdrive enabled.
Not compatible with PS5 at 2K @120 Hz
I bought this KTC H27E6 to connect to my PS5 at 2k @120Hz, using a brand new 8k ultra high speed certified HDMI cable which connected to the HDMI 2.1 port of this display everything should works well, BUT it didn’t. It’s really disappointing, this monitor gives 300Hz and 1440p in the paper, however when I connected it to my PS5 only gave me 60 Hz on 1440p. I tried going through the PS5 & display settings but nothing worked. I’m sadly gonna return it. The materials look good, beautiful design, great monitor stand (easy to move in any direction). Basically it’s not compatible with 1440p @120Hz on PS5. You can see the pictures attached. As a curious fact this display is also 4k (2160p), weird thing because it should be just 2k (1440p), so that would be a plus if the 2K works at 120 Hz on my PS5. So, I’ll return it to keep finding the right one.
GOOD MONITOR IF YOU CAN PUT UP WITH POOR VIEWING ANGLES
THE GOOD: The H27E6 supports a wide range of colors with high sRGB and DCI-P3 coverage. It is 8 bit + FRC despite some websites claiming only 8 bit, displaying emulated 10 bit colors. Motion handling is excellent and blur is minimal. I suggest keeping Overdrive disabled, as enabling it even to the lowest setting benefits some very minimal blur but introduces major RGB overshoot. Despite the panel being IPS, contrast is surprisingly quite good and blacks look deep-ish. Not nearly as good as a VA or OLED panel, but noticeably better than the average IPS. THE BAD: Backlight uniformity differs from unit to unit, but my unit was pretty good. However, viewing angles are terrible. When moving your head even slightly, the brightness of the monitor shifts around your changing viewing angle; like a second overlayed IPS glow effect that moves with your head. This creates weird visuals and makes text sometimes hard to read without moving your head over, which may be quite distracting for some users. For those who have used VA panels, think of it like the color shifting effect but rather shifting the brightness instead of color. On Windows at least, the monitor appears to have an issue where it disconnects itself while power saving mode dims the screens in firmware USA-1.0.1. This may cause annoyances with certain apps or games. While dimmed, the screen fails to properly disable the backlighting, leaving an illuminated black screen instead. ALSO: I've read some people have issues with the monitor flickering after a month or so of ownership, however, from my research this may just be an issue with the provided DP cable being low quality. Try switching the cable out and the issue may resolve itself, otherwise, the monitor is covered for 3 years by warranty.
