NOT CAP V2 SWITCHES
Beware! This seller is trying to pawn off Cap V1 switches as V2s. As the other 1 star review states, the top housing does not have a "divet" that can be seen in the V2 switches. Also, the new V2 switches have a darker yellow stem while these gold cap V1s have a slightly lighter stem. DO NOT BUY. FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD, THIS IS A SCAM. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.
Both boxes I got were already open.
First of all, these switches are definitely cap V2 instead of the cap v1 that many comments claim they are. The switches sound great and just need some lube. Unfortunately the part that makes a this review a 2 star is the fact that both boxes I ordered already had the seal broken. I ordered new switches not an open box item.
I'm not sure if I received v1 or v2
I thought that the v2 did not come in the acrylic case. I also checked the side rail molding in the top house, and i checked the bottom housing. It seems like it is the v1 housing. The box just has "cap" marked off, so I can't tell if it's v1 or v2 from the box.
