Don’t love the stock KSA Keycaps but otherwise this is a phenomenal keyboard. Especially for MacOS users.

top notch keyboard wireless is great haven't had to charge it yet software is also good sounds clean not too loud but definitely has a good sound would recommend
Almost Perfect — If Not for a Few QC Issues
Before buying the Keychron Q1 Ultra, I had been using the ROG Azoth Extreme. While that keyboard is impressive in many ways, I was never fully satisfied with its stock sound and typing feel. I had been looking for something that could combine the premium feel of a high-end custom mechanical keyboard with the performance of a flagship gaming keyboard, and when I saw the Q1 Ultra last week, I decided to give it a try. In terms of appearance and build quality, this keyboard is very much in line with Keychron’s usual style and standards. It feels dense, solid, and premium in hand. The stock sound is a bit more thocky compared with some other clacky mechanical keyboards, but that can be adjusted with different switches or by removing some of the internal foam. Personally, I actually like this sound profile, so I only swapped in a set of smoother linear switches and a ceramic keycap set. Overall, I’m genuinely happy to see Keychron release a product like this at a time when so many brands are rushing to push magnetic-switch keyboards. It’s refreshing to see a board that still offers both premium typing feel and strong gaming performance in a wireless package. That said, I can only give it 4 stars because I noticed a few small but disappointing QC issues on my unit. For example, the USB-C port appears slightly misaligned, and the Keychron badge on the front of the keyboard is not perfectly centered. These are not major functional problems, but for a keyboard at this price point and positioning, I personally find them hard to ignore. I hope these are just early-batch issues. Another thing I didn’t love is the back plate on the bottom. I was surprised to find that it’s made of plastic. Since it’s a decorative part, I had expected it to be CNC aluminum like the rest of the case. In the end, this is still a high-end wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers an excellent typing experience and a very capable gaming experience. Questionable Quality Control
I've now having to return my 2nd keyboard. I'm not sure if I've gotten unlucky or what, but on the first the "b" key would flip between being unresponsive and acting as though it was being held down, and now on the second the "F5" key does not work at all. I really like the feel of this keyboard, so I'm extremely disappointed.
One of the Best Prebuilt 75% Keyboards I’ve Tried – Great for Gaming Too
As someone who’s been in the mechanical keyboard hobby for years and owns way, *way* too many boards, the Keychron Q1 Ultra 8K stood out to me. The full aluminum build gives it that dense, premium feel I really like, and gasket-mount and layers of acoustic foam ensure the typing acoustics are deep and refined right out of the box. As HipyoTech would say, it "sounds like heaven". For gaming, the 8K wired polling rate gives incredible responsiveness in fast shooters, while support for fast 2.4g and Bluetooth wireless offer flexibility for any situation. The Silk Pom Banana switches have just the right amount of tactility and make for a divine typing experience but are still quick for gaming, and the hot-swap support means I can easily experiment with other switches from my collection. The combination of the tri-mode connectivity, huge battery life, and thick PBT caps, make this board one of the more well-rounded enthusiast-style keyboards I’ve used that still works great as a daily gaming board. Keychron may be a more mainstream, "safe" pick for enthusiast boards, but they got that reputation for a reason. They make really high quality boards, especially in their higher tier Q line, and these ultimate Q Ultra 8k boards really go all in on premium features.
