More that a year in, I continue to be satisfied

I never use the word "satisfied" dismissively. Since I wear corrective lenses, I'm not the best judge of anything requiring the keenest vision: lenses, cameras, monitors, etc., BUT, I do know when I am displeased. Saying that makes me realize I'm very pleased with this monitor. NOTE: It has a matte finish, so although reflections are near non-existent (NOT at all matte monitors are, sadly, like this), colours are muted, but still gorgeous – especially viewing 4K. Be prepared though: 32 inches is MASSIVE! I sit just 2.5–3 feet away, and so, BIG. I don't complain viewing MM, or running Excel spreadsheets, or working on Word docs, or comparing two online items, or, or, or... HUGE caveat for me: LG's focussed too much on this being an "entertainment" monitor. So, no wake from sleep by mouse or keyboard movements; you've gotta use the LG remote. Finally, LG needs to improve its stingy 1-year warranty. My credit card allows for doubling the warranty period, so a better 2-year from LG would've given me 4 years. 2 years for this type and size is reasonable. (MSI gives 3 years for their OLEDs and some non-OLEDs.) DO BETTER LG!

Works Great and Looks Nice

I’ve been using the LG UltraGear monitor and I’m genuinely impressed with it. It feels like a great do-it-all screen for both gaming and everyday PC use, and the white design looks amazing in a setup with lighter or earthy tones. Picture quality is the biggest win for me. The 4K resolution at 32 inches looks extremely sharp for games and text, and the IPS panel gives colors a clean, vibrant look with good viewing angles. It’s great for anything from web browsing and school/work to watching videos and playing games with lots of detail. For gaming, the 144Hz refresh rate makes everything feel noticeably smoother than 60Hz, especially in fast camera movement or FPS games. Input feels quick and responsive, and the VRR support with both NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium helps a lot with keeping gameplay smooth and reducing tearing when frame rates fluctuate. The HDR 400 is a nice bonus, but I’d describe it as decent HDR rather than mind-blowing. It gives highlights a bit more pop and improves contrast in some scenes, but it’s not going to look like high-end HDR on a mini-LED or OLED. Still, it’s a solid feature to have and I like using it when the game supports it well. Connectivity is also a strong point. Having HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C makes it easy to use with a desktop PC, laptop, and even consoles depending on your setup. I like that it feels flexible instead of being locked into one type of device. Overall, this monitor feels like a premium upgrade, sharp 4K clarity, smooth 144Hz performance, great color from the IPS panel, and a design that actually looks clean and intentional on the desk. If you want a monitor that performs well and also fits a softer, aesthetic setup, I’d definitely recommend it.

Il y avait toujours une ombre derriere les objets qui allait vite dans l’écran, les couleurs ne sont pas tres bien représenté a mon avis a moins peut être de réglage pendant des heures et des heures. Après une semaine d’utilisation un pixel a brulé..

A balanced gaming/work monitor.

Monitor is good, software is relatively fast, took about 3 minutes to set it up when first connected... Exceptionally well constructed, the base stand is quality metal, sturdy, well painted feels good to the touch and monitor has a nice light on the back that can be turned off. Balanced in terms of gaming/work. I do programming mostly and text is clear, sharp, bright and easy to read, while gaming is great, and i am very thankful that is matte... can work on the day with no issue, very little reflections. The sound is acceptable enough to the point i removed my external speakers and rely only on the monitor sound. One VERY important thing. Like any other 4k 144hz+ monitor, you really need a video card that can handle that..... otherwise you will get limited hz or dull colors due to bandwidth issues. Overall i rate this 9/10.

USB-C functionality is terrible

the USB-C function on this monitor is terrible. I literally have to disconnect and reconnect my computer each time I turn it on otherwise the monitor won't recognize the input. Also sometimes I randomly get an "invalid input" error and have to cycle back to an HDMI connection or power cycle the monitor for it to display my computer. considering the premium LG charges for this feature, I'd say it's not worth buying
