Product works but loud - Read full review.
Product works for sure, this is something best you can buy for overheating processor's like i9 but fan is crazy loud, I reduce the fan speed at a bearable noise levels I wear glasses so I cant wear hefty headphones for gaming, I game on speaker. If you use the fan at 100% cooling is best but noise is something irritates me a lot I cant bear it. If I reduce the speed then I loose some power on cooling but noise is OK to hear. reduces a lot of temps no thermal throttle.

It is the only cooler that really works
It is a bit noisy at the highest level but it really cools down my laptop. I usually use it during my video edits at the middle level but when my laptop gets hotter I push to the highest level for 2-3 minutes. I tried so many laptop coolers. None of theö made the job but this one is amazing

The best laptop fan i tried.
My laptop is asus Rog strix G15 AMD. Its know as its high temperatures. I am architect and use my laptop in revit and rendering apps and it was getting really hot and sometimes it shutdown from heat. Tried alot of laptop coolers and they were bad till i found this invension which changed the game. Imagine that my laptop was reaching 95 degrees and now barely exceeding the 70s ! Awesome !

Not a worth upgrade to IETS GT300, Fragile foams / Plastic / higher noise / Seperate power adapter.
Alright, I have been reading and listening to "how great IETS GT500 is for cooling a laptop is, however looking at it's price tag, I wished to find out myself if it delivers the value too? Here's on my experience. I will compare it with IETS GT300 which I got at AED 150 from a friend ($40.00 appx) and just got IETS GT500 to uplift cooling my laptop which is "Gigabyte Aero 16 XE5 2022 i7 12700H 40GB DDR5 @ 4800 Mhz and RTX 3070 TI 8GB" 01. FAN SPEED: IETS GT300 has twin fans with Max Speed @ 4500 RPM | IETS GT500 has one Industrial fan at the centre with Max Speed @ 5000 RPM 02. SPEED ADJUSTMENT: IETS GT300 has 4 levels of fan speed, Once Power source (USB-USB) is connected, it starts with minimal speed, and there are additional three levels mentioned as '1', '2' and '3' to boost the speed further to 4500RPM | IETS GT500 has a Speed wheel to dynamically adjust the speed to a max of 5000RPM. 03. POWER SOURCE: IETS GT300 Powers up with a USB-TypeA-USB-Type-A Cable with one end in the Laptop and the other in the Cooling Pad | IETS GT500 Powers Up with Seperate Power Adapter and although it has three USB-TypeA ports in it, I have tested all ports with similar cable and It just doesn't power on with a Cable, This means you can't use the pad in a portable configuration. 03. IO PORTS: IETS GT300 has two USB-Type A Ports in the rear. One is used to power on th cooling pad, the other | IETS GT500 has three USB-Type-A and a USB Type C on the right Side of the Pad. However, The Type C is only used to bridge-in the data connection between the laptop and a cooling pad just like a dongle. 04. AIR SEAL: IETS GT300 uses a "THIN" rubber seal to prevent air from leaking from beneath the laptop | IETS GT500 uses a "WIDE" foam to prevent air from leaking from beneath the laptop. Although foam does an excellent job of preventing air from leaking, If you accidently placed your laptop on IETS GT500 while it's switched off, Mind that it can work in the opposite direction i.e. The hot air wo

Incredibly good temps (-20c)
Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Legion 5 made my temps go from 80c on my GPU to 60c. It may be loud at max RPM but the foam sealing in the laptop reduces it noise by a bit so it's still enjoyable to play with speakers instead of headphones. Overall, a good product to buy for gaming laptop users on heavy games.

Honest opinion about the product
The product works as advertised perfectly, had problems with overheating and the cooler solved it for me it was a quick fix, plug and play and very simple and perfect fix for overheating laptops.

Best laptop cooler ever?
Been 6 months(or more) still going strong. I have a 12th gen 12700h and an rtx3080ti mobile config in my laptop, and it generates heat like a furnace used to power 19th century Ships. But this cooler manages to cool it down(I try to game in a cool environment, AC at 21C or below), at the cost of some noise. The noise isn’t an issue because I have headphones on 90% of the time I’m gaming. Highly recommended for overheating laptops.

Good Performance, Good Build Quality, 2 Drawbacks
I bought this cooler for my gaming laptop. It performed quite well; It managed to reduce my CPU temperature by 10-15 degrees. GPU temperature was mostly the same because it never really got that hot in the first place, in my case anyway. The build quality is excellent. Despite being made of plastic it’s incredibly robust, especially the adjustable stand. It also comes with metal clips to hold the laptop from slipping downwards when on an angle. The only 2 drawbacks are that it is expensive for what it is and the foam does feel like it would easily tear (it’s foam after all so can’t really blame it, but still, for the price it’s unacceptable). One thing to note is that it is quite noisy but it doesn’t bother me too much. Overall, it’s a great product. If someone is looking for an even better alternative try checking out the Llano Laptop Cooler. It’s more expensive but gives better cooling (5-10 degrees better cooling).

Excellent cooling solution
Excellent system, easy to use, and I love the dial to set the RPM of the fan. It cools my gaming laptop down from 47C to 38C on a low setting, and under load from 57C down to 45C on a high setting. Laptop is now cool to the touch, most of the time.

Fantastic piece of kit.
Brilliant product. The fan is very loud but that is the price for performance. The cooler has a removable dust filter that is easy to clean. Only buy this if you have large intake vents on the bottom of your laptop, if you do this cooler is unmatched in it's performance. I highly recommend this cooler for anyone that wants maximum temperature drops, just make sure you have a bottom intake or it will not be effective.

Durability and performance
Durability is great, I bought it on Feb 2024, and its still working on August 2026. Very strong, I use it for 16 inch laptop and its very good for reducing temperature, it helps with keeping my laptop in 80s in high performance as opposed to 90s without it. It can reduce temp by 5 degrees at least on high performance It has a durable filter that can be washed and used "forever". This helps a lot with reducing dust getting inside the laptop. The only cons to this is it does not have an RPM display, for me I realize it's much better to have it, but that means an extra cost. I tried another brand with display, it stopped working within a year, so IETS brand is much better durability , so if I will get one with display I will get from this IETS as well
