Excellent for those who love FPS 👌🏾

I purchased this Router to test how much latency it could reduce while playing various games. Initially, I used it when playing Battlefield and Warzone. I noticed a seamless playthrough. My ping was always quite low, and while it would spike at random moments before this router, this HYPEREV wifi booster prevents any of that awful red ping. I also tried it with games like Dead by Daylight and Genshin Impact. It's fantastic with DBD. If you know the game uses connection-based matchmaking, even when the host's lobby has a bad connection. It wouldn't affect me while my friends were being affected. In Genshin, the latency is much lower, allowing inputs to feel much more precise, and your ping stays in the green. Provides a long signal boost. And easy to get support when you run into any issues. A wonderful product. I highly recommend.

Gameplay Advantage (speed test by google)

I've been enjoying GearUP products for about a year now. I was a little hesitant on this one. I am not sure if you stack it with GearUP app or not. If I just have the router connnected to my PC and don't use the GearUP app. My speeds are unchanged. I do use the GearUP Connection App to tell the router what games to look out for. My speed is 700~800 mbps down on 2Gig internet. I had 1Gig for a long time nad was averaging 200-400 Mbps. This is exactly what I hoped for. The router does everything and no effect on the speeds. I have played Marvel Rivals, and Brawl Stars atm. Games are running good and I feel the advantage. Picture was taken with Marvel Rivals Open, and Router connected. My pings are usually 8-12 range. Overall, I love this company and their products. I should have bought it earlier.

I mean.. its alright, like...

So I got very excited to finally replace the default router spectrum gives ya only to plummet into despair when this things Wi-Fi range is about half of the default router, yes it's a bit more reliable in terms of packet loss(with booster enabled) but it's only worthwhile if you wire in directly, the range is so sad, I was one room over and "1-barring" the 5ghz connection and 4 bars for the 2.4ghz connection, 1 room! Only about 13 to 15 feet away, not only that but it lacks ipv6, a basic commodity on the default router. All in all I'm severely disappointed as it was not what I needed but im certain it'll be great for other folks trying to connect their consoles directly, granted I think the standard 89.99 price tag is highway robbery for it's performance but the discounted price of 29.99 is fine fir what it provides. If you are gonna buy this, buy it on discount.

Effortless Setup with PS5 and NS2, Impressive Performance

I purchased this mainly for improving my gaming experience on the PS5. The setup was incredibly straightforward—just connected it to my existing router, and it was ready to go. No complicated configurations needed. The device comes with a 3-month VIP Game Boosting Service, which has significantly improved my online gaming sessions. I've noticed reduced ping times and smoother gameplay. not a tech guy of how it works but it do improve ping and latency in COD. While I primarily use it with my PS5, I'm looking forward to trying it out on my PC soon. Updated: Tried this with my friends newly arrived NS2, working pretty well. With my old ISP router, the download speeds was so slow. This one lets me connect directly to the 5GHz band, and now I’m getting over 140Mbps with NAT Type A, with way better download speed and online matching experience. Even without turning on any advanced acceleration, the standard features are already great — and they’re free! Pretty impressed and highly recommended
