Premium feel for a gaming monitor
It's a good premium gaming oled monitor, you may realize some banding ( very common in w-oled panel) but after few hours of usage and after some pixel cleaning it will disappear and gets much better
Premium OLED Gaming Monitor
I was skeptic to buy an OLED monitor because of the issues I read online. This Gigabyte MO27Q28G is my 1st OLED monitor and I'm very happy with the quality and color of this panel.
Extreme Vertical Banding
The monitor initially was excellent, i could tell how crisp and deep the colours are. What i did NOT expect was the extreme vertical banding which is visible on any colour display (most obvious on greys). This doesnt seem like an OLED pixel care issue. Most likely a faulty display. I am yet to run OLED pixel care (min 4 hours use required) but even after i run it, highly unlikely it will fix the issue 100%. Most likely going to replace the product and hope for a working display with 0 problems. This is a known issue with tandem WOLED's, especially knew ones, but ive havent seen any examples online as bad as what I have. Will update this review **UPDATE** after the first 4 hours of use, I ran OLED pixel care and it completely fixed everything. Only reason I’m rating 4 stars is if someone who doesn’t understand monitors gets this, they might return it without understanding what to do, otherwise it’s 5 stars
Defective unit + bad customer care support
Got a panel which had bandings for the entire colour spectrum (not just grey), it also had uneven backlight and flickering on still images. Everyone I should this to said that it is one of the worst case scenario panels they have ever seen. Requested a replacement and a week after the request I was told that they couldn't replace it and only refund it.
Meilleur OLED du marché à ce prix, WOLED Tandem 4th gen, Vertical Banding mais une solution existe
Mon premier moniteur OLED pour PC, j'ai décidé de passer le cap avec la nouvelle technologie de dalle WOLED Tandem (la 4th Gen) qui entre autre par rapport aux anciennes : Boost de luminosité, meilleurs couleurs & noirs, baisse de la consommation et donc un burn-in potentiel bien réduit (3 ans garantie, burn-in inclus). Tout d'abord les noirs, comment ai-je fais depuis tout ce temps sur une dalle classique, fini les ombres grisâtres, une immersion accrue pour les jeux et également de vraies couleurs, bref un plaisir. A SAVOIR que TOUS les écrans WOLED 4th Gen (Tandem) du marché, sans exception souffre de "Vertical Banding", se sont des bandes ou une impression de saleté présent sur fond gris (95% greyscale) donc très spécifique, au premier allumage et en testant c'est flagrant MAIS une solution existe car beaucoup le retourne sans savoir : 1. Mettre à jour le dernier Firmware de l'écran (site gigabyte.com) en le reliant une USB au PC grâce au câble fournis. 2. Effectuer un "reset all" des paramètres afin de repartir sur une bonne base. 3. Mode "Picture" en "Custom" (SDR) ou "Gamer" (HDR) afin d'avoir une meilleur luminosité (a régler selon vos besoin). 4. Réduire dans Windows la fréquence de l'écran de 280HZ a 240HZ, c'est imperceptible et ca réduira l'effet de vertical banding. 5. Effectué plusieurs "Pixel Cleaning" dans l'OSD Oled Care (3 minimum), l'écran s'éteint pendant 5mn et nettoie les pixels. 6. Enfin servez vous de l'écran ! Faites tourner des vidéos HDR, jouez à des jeux, nettoyer les pixels de temps en temps et l'effet s'estompera tout seul ! Aucun écran n'est parfait, j'ai eu du VA QLED Samsung avec des fuites de lumières, un IPS avec ses noirs qui sont gris et de l'ips glow... Celui là n'est pas exempt de problème certes mais au vu de la qualité d'image c'est très acceptable surtout que sont seul défaut se règle dans le temps... Enfin le Verical banding ne se voit QUE en image fixe sur un gris spécifique en étant rapproché de l'écran donc invisible dan
Oled o non Oled: questo è il problema; anzi non lo è.
Trovato a 461 euro, non me lo sono fatto sfuggire. Era da un po' che meditavo l'upgrade verso la tecnologia Oled senza sapere cosa significasse nella sostanza. Arriva il pacco Amazon, scatola intatta. Sfilo il monitor e controllo subito che funzioni. Guardo le prime immagini del PC attraverso la pellicola protettiva dello schermo e rispetto al mio LG 2K 32" Nano Cell di quattro anni fa, non trovo particolare differenze nella "vivacità dello schermo". Per un momento penso che tutto l'entusiasmo per questa tecnologia sia ingiustificato. Ci impiego circa un'oretta a sistemare la postazione secondaria, quella da gioco per intenderci, perché il mio LG continuerà a essere utilizzato per lavoro; è stata una scelta meditata. Avevo pensato anche al mini led visto che mi interessava la seconda postazione soprattuo per i contenuti multimediali, ma tant'è, anche videogiocare. Ho preso un signor Oled, 280Hz, neri profondissimi. Lo spellicolo. Al momento non riesco a capire: quali sono le differenze rispetto a un normalissimo IPS? ? Poi metto su Gran Turimo sulla play; secondo test. Monto il mio volantino economico e faccio un giro di pista. Arrivo lungo, freno e recupero l'auto sul cordolo prima di finire nell'erba. E a quel punto capisco perché l'Oled è da effetto wow. Nemmeno mi ero reso conto che, in tanti anni di IPS, mi ero abituato a muovermi virtualmente nella melassa, ma qui i led si aggiornano istantaneamente e qualsiasi reazione, soprattutto quelle più istintive alla simulazione, hanno riscontro immmediato, istantaneo; manco avessi uno di quei volanti DD da migliaia di euro. Ecco cos'è l'Oled e non è finita. Il contrasto infinito e i neri profondi mi mandano insieme la vista. Non mi ero accorto di quanto la luce omogenea di un pannello LCD appiattisse la prospettiva. La schiacciasse fino a renderla piatta. Così dovevo anticipare il comportamento della macchina prima di entrare in curva invece di usare le sensazioni che mi restituiva il volante, per imparare a pennellar

Bastante bueno, latencia baja
El brillo es bastante bueno, no tiene colores raros cuando está apagado. Eso sí, me vino con líneas verticales que se corrigieron cuando se hizo la limpieza de pixeles. Me asustó pero ahora está perfecto. En los grises oscuros si que tiene un poco de variación poco importante. Una oled que da gusto tenerla. La latencia en la Nintendo Switch a 60hz también es muy baja, cosa que se aprecia. En 280hz, wow.
