Worked then bricked
Worked great for a few months then bricked. The GPU stopped being recognized and the motherboard died. Took **two** RMA claims to get Asus to fix it but I've got almost zero faith in it staying fixed. When it works, it's great, but right now, I don't know how long that's going to last.
Powerhouse in a small box
I've had my ROGNUC 15 for almost a year now with zero issues. It is exactly what I was looking for, an extremely powerful machine in a small form factor. I was wanting an excellent gaming machine that can also be used for photo and video processing, but I didn't want a full size tower. I just don't have the room for it. I also wanted something that was turn-key. I enjoy building PC's, but didn't want the headache of building out another full system. Ideally, I was also looking for something that could also be packed up and taken on a road trip and used with a portable monitor, a foldable Bluetooth keyboard and small mouse, so I could maintain some productivity and maybe even play some games in my downtime with a controller. This thing checks all the boxes for me and I couldn't be happier. All the games I've thrown at it have run in max or ultra graphics settings. All the photo and video processing I have done has been exceptionally fast without feeling like it's being bogged down in the slightest. The fan noise is noticeable when it's running and does get louder as demand increases. I generally have other fans in the room going and I also use headphones while using it, so the noise doesn't bother me. It has a great processor and 32GB of RAM is sufficient for the time being. The graphics processor is top of the line for this form factor and it's hard to beat. The 2TB of storage is a good start, but if you do photo and video editing you will likely want to upgrade. Upgrading this machine is super simple. The hardest part is figuring out how to open the case. There are some reviews here which appear to address failures. I haven't experienced any. I even took a chance and got mine "Used - Like New." The discount was too good to pass up. My unit has been flawless. If failures concern you and you're worried about the return process, perhaps buy direct from Asus. Getting repair support would probably be easier and more streamlined going direct rather than through Amazon. I
Have money but dont know where to blow? Here it is.
utter garbage. cant run games as low as PUBG and ARK for over 2 hours straight. Either blue screen or just lags out and reboots. Definitely dont recommend, only thing its good for is for show.
LMU and ACC +150FPS All Graphics maxed!! Great Comouter for its size.
Just playing LemansUltimate and AssettoCorsaCompetizione with it and after 2 wks using it I get +150FPS with all the setting maxed and barely 20% on the CPU.
Window 11 ruins it
YOUR kidding me? Windows 11 ruined what is probably the nicest mini ever built. In all honesty for daily tasks it is no faster than my HP elitedesk running 7 from 15 years ago. windows ruins everything good about this unit, if you are running a specific task/game it will be great. day to day work. suck. SO polluted with windows it can barely function. I wish hardware manufacturers would band together an produce a lightweight user driving platform. NO one want windows bloat. Windows forces 255 white everywhere with grey font. Davinci/Capcut etc force dark mode. Can we all just get along. Sending it back,, Sorry Asus, Lie with dogs, get fleas
