Great keycaps to upgrade my NuPhy WH80

I used these switches with my NuPhy WH80 keyboard. The main issue I had with the stock switches was stem wobble, where each key feels wobbly and typing was not satisfying. I discovered these and was instantly sold: the price point is well under other compatible switches (like the TTC POM costing almost double). You will need the pack of 90 for the WH80, it consumes about 84 of the switches. The included extra-heavy spacebar is a nice touch, space feels great with this setup. Installation is pretty easy, I didn't bother to take the board apart, I just cautiously removed the old switches. If you are looking for a nice upgrade these are a good buy. They are fairly loud and on the "clack-y" or "click-y" side of things, I like the sound quite a bit. They're very accurate (you just need to pick a compatible 3.4mm depth switch in the software, I chose the Nova one at the bottom). For the price they're offered it's the perfect upgrade for stable, nice feeling keys. I used the stock keycaps, I think a top-end set of keycaps would really round things out with these switches. A+, the best upgrade you can get for WH80.

Causes Shift keycaps to return slowly or get stuck until manually released.

All good, except when I've installed them on my Shift key or any key cap that has x3 key cap cross type holes, it doesn't fit exactly and causes the key to return slowly or get stuck. I confirmed this by swapping that switch to an old one and the problem disappears. This happens even with the default Shift key-cap from Wooting 60HE+. Be aware of this when buying, otherwise it's good.

Solid performer with magnetic feel

I purchased these switches to slot into a hall effect keyboard I've been experimenting with but which came with very uninspiring magnetic switches. I found these to be a slight improvement. First, they perform really well at the entire HE theory of speed and adjustability. I also agree that they seem to be very high precision for exacting control, and while I can feel the difference, I can't say I really do anything that requires it. Second, they sound terrible, as do all pure HE switches I've tried. These sound exactly the same as the stock switches in my keyboard, which was very disappointing because my mechanical switches from DUROCK sound fantastic. My hoped for upgrade on sound was just not on offer. These switches were smooth, feeling well lubed, and had all the sensitivity an HE switch can provide, so I can't honestly give them a poor rating -- but the sound is so lackluster, I can't give it five stars. In the end these ended up being an upgrade, but not the upgrade I was hoping for. I guess I'll keep looking, and stick to mechanical keyboards. 4/5 stars, worth getting but they're not life changing.

Silky Smooth, Bright and Clear RGB, Nice and Thocky (for an HE switch)

Recently bought these for a few HE keeb builds. (A melgeek Made68 Ultra and a Wooting 80HE full custom build). They come silky smooth and have a more deep thock to their sound than the TTC KOMs I was using previously. This was surprising to me as the KOMs are generally regarded as one of the thockier switches of this type around but was very welcome. They feel very solid and have VERY little stem wobble (less than the KOMs, I haven't gotten any Jade Max/pros yet but from what I understand those have more wobble than the KOMs). The addition of the much stiffer space bar switch initially seems like a gimmick, however after giving it a try it is absolutely a game changer. Even with the best stabs and switches, spacebars often feel a bit hollow. With the heavy switch my spacebar finally feels just as solid as the rest of my keyboard. In both builds the switches are extremely accurate and hold their accuracy for multiple hours at a time. Have not had any issues with wandering zero or loss of resolution on either board, and seem just as responsive if not a tiny bit more accurate than the KOMs, although that might just be the Made68 being slightly less flashy/feature rich than the 80HE which has become my daily driver board. Overall, I would highly recommend these for someone looking for an alternative to the standard KOMs or Raws, and that don't like the snappy sound of the Jades.
