Best monitor money can buy for productivity
Fantastic monitor, best you can get. Seller sent it in its origan packaging which was damaged, and a tape was used to keep the carton intact. Also the shipping adress on package was for some other company, which made me think its open box /second hand product. After contacting dell it got resolved.

Ich komme von einem Dell/Alienware 38", der eigentlich noch sehr gut ist. Dieser Monitor setzt ab noch einen obendrauf. 5K bei 120Hz ist schon schön. Der Monitor ist ein Schnittstellen-Wunder. Diesmal hat Dell alles geliefert, was man braucht. Meine Dell-Docking Station für meine Laptops konnte ich abbauen, ich verwende nur noch den KVM im Monitor. Die ausfahrbaren USB Ports sind eine gute Idee, wenngleich ich diese eigentlich nicht benötige. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Es wird hier Geren behauptet, dass die Lochmaske für einen 39,5" Monitor bei 5K zu groß ist. Da kann ich nicht zustimmen. Ich sitze vor diesem Monitor ja nicht in 20cm Entfernung, sondern relaxed auf in meinem Bürostuhl. Über die 120Hz muss ich glaub ich nichts sagen, außer dass man für Apple Rechner dann über USB-C gehen muss. HDMI ist raus. Da ich meine MacBooks und Macminis aber ohnehin über USB-C abschließe passt das. Mein Hauptrechner kommt über eine 3090 und DP. Ein Profigerät für User, die viele Eingänge und Schnittstellen benötigen und auch mehrere Rechner Gleichzeit betreiben wollen. Wenngleich es kein reiner Gamingmonitor ist, geht Spielen hervorragend. Mann braucht für die 5K allerdings schon eine ausreichende Karte mit Dampf. Zum Arbeiten, Videoschnitt, Grafik usw. ist der Monitor perfekt. Fazit: Ein super Allrounder mit unzähligen Optionen und einem sehr guten Panel. Er ist jeden Cent wert.
Excellent for Developers, Good at gaming, suprisingly good at movies. Very expensive.
This is a beautiful monitor. I bought it primarily for coding and some gaming. It fits 3 panes of code in one screen, or 2 panes plus codex. I can feel my brain juggling less between tasks. Gaming is also very immersive, I'm playing older AAA games on my legion because 5k2k is a very high resolution. It also works well with my Mac through thunderbolt and charges it too. Always remember to use thunderbolt on Mac and displayport / usbc displayport on Windows. HDMI is a bit hard if you are pushing 5k2k 120Hz. Very beautiful very capable very expensive monitor.
Excellent, wish I'd gone down this road much sooner.
Absolutely worth every penny (and that's a *lot* of pennies). Does everything it says it will. Very high quality build, exceptional clarity and flexibility in scaling (Mac OSX) make this monitor the only one I need now. Wish I hadn't hesitated so long, as I understand it was quite a few quid lower in recent history. The pass-through USB / power ports means it acts like a dock, with all the peripherals connected through it, I just plug my macbook into the thuderbolt cable (supplied) and off we go. The software for monitor settings and window management is surprisingly good too. Putting it together was very easy, and the set up was straightforward. The only screen I now ever want - everything visible, and no crowding. The only downside is that, as others have noted, the speakers are christmas-cracker quality, but plugging in my external audio setup is no bother. I can't believe I limped along without this level of resolution and visual comfort for so long. And it doesn't weigh as much as I feared it would, so I haven't had to reinforce my desk - another bonus. Absolutely love it.
Ottimo monitor per chi vuole uno schermo spazioso e una scrivania in ordine
Questo monitor è molto bello. Lo schermo è spazioso, luminoso e i colori sono definiti. Le dimensioni e la curvatura non troppo pronunciata sono ottime per un lavoro di ufficio. Si aggancia perfettamente agli ultimi Mac e PC (quelli in mio possesso). La funzione di split permette di lavorare su più dispositivi contemporaneamente e nel mio caso (es. debug di programmi divisi su più macchine) risulta molto comoda. Il fatto che sia anche una docking station/hub Thunderbolt 4 permette di diminuire il disordine sulla scrivania (in effetti ho eliminato una serie di dispositivi e relativi cavi). Non è economico ma lo ricomprerei.
