Perfect work + gaming + movies 4k monitor
Fantastic monitor, good viewing angles, and surprisingly usable for CS2 and other games. The 4k is such a great touch. Don't expect to not have IPS glow, as the blue bars on top and bottom are definitely there while watching stretched aspect ratio movies. Overall really good value for someone who wants an all-rounder.
Fantastic productivity monitor for those who can’t go back to 60hz.
After upgrading to a 360hz 1440p OLED and giving away my old 144hz 1440p IPS, I needed another monitor primarily productivity and programming as a CS student. But after trying other 27 inch 4k monitors with 60hz refresh rates, it didn’t feel like home. it just made everything feel slower and made me feel less productive. But this monitor ticks all my boxes, it reaches 350 nits brightness which is on par with my old monitor but with noticeably better contrast. You wouldn’t think 1000:1 to 1500:1 makes a difference if you own an OLED that can literally reach infinite:1 but yes, it makes a big difference. Colors look good to me when just eyeballing it next to my 2019 MacBook at a comparable brightness. The resolution at this size is fantastic text and every part of the UI is ultra crisp like my MacBook (honestly even more so, I think ClearType makes a big difference). Viewing angles are great. The matte coating does produce some grain which is noticable if you are in a dark room viewing full white screen within a foot away but it’s by far not the worse i’ve seen and with dark mode I legitimately cannot notice it and the reflection handling is pretty great. Now the refresh rate… wow. 4k on 27 inches with 120hz is just, stunning. Just feels like the way navigating a desktop is meant to feel. It honestly feels like a crime we use 60hz for literally anything, it makes everything just feel way more responsive. Response times are okay, absolutely fantastic for a productivity however for gaming with a mouse it wouldn’t be my first pick. It’s not my use case but I feel I should mention it. There is quite some noticable ghosting in games but I am coming from an OLED so I am probably particularly sensitive to noticing it. It’s FreeSync compatible which is just great but I would spend a bit more to get faster pixel response personally if you are going to ever play FPS games with keyboard and mouse on it. But if you are getting it for playing on a controller or console then you’ll
high quality
I recently picked up the Dell 27 Plus 4K Monitor – S2725QS, and honestly, the quality is amazing. The 4K resolution looks super crisp, and everything just feels so sharp and detailed. Watching videos, gaming, and even just doing schoolwork on it feels like such an upgrade. The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything look really smooth too, which I didn’t realize I’d appreciate this much until I started using it. The IPS panel looks great from every angle, and the colors are really nice and vibrant with the 99% sRGB coverage. It just feels premium overall. Even the design in ash white looks clean and modern on my desk. The built-in speakers are decent for casual use, and I like that it has ComfortView Plus to reduce eye strain since I’m on my computer a lot. My only complaint is that I really wish they included a DisplayPort cable in the box. For a monitor at this level, it would’ve been nice to have everything ready to go without needing to buy an extra cable separately. Overall though, I’m super satisfied with it. The picture quality and smoothness make it totally worth it, and it really upgraded my whole setup.
Unique monitor in this price range
This is a great all around monitor, if you’re looking for an IPS panel with acceptable contrast, @4k/120hz and with decent colors you can’t really get one cheaper than this one. Excellent for productivity, also doubles as being decent for gaming the 4-8ms gtg isn’t a deal breaker. Speakers are great too.
Great 4K monitor for the price
Just got it today and fired it up. Colors are gorgeous and pop like crazy. HDR looks very good despite 400 Nits rating. Color accuracy is VERY GOOD according to Rtings.com and I agree. It's an IPS screen with a 1500/1 dynamic range. In a well lit room, blacks look black so no concern there. Two main reasons I bought this set: 120 Hz and fully adjustable stand. I also like that OK speakers are built in. This is a really nice looking monitor that performs great! I am super happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it, especially if you got it on sale as I did!
Reasonable Price with Great Performance
Purchased this Monitor to go with my MacMini in lieu of purchasing the recommended expensive Apple Monitor. I do a lot of Photo & Video editing with high end software and the clarity and color rendition of this monitor is excellent. It connected to my MacMini seamlessly and provided onboard USB-A Ports that are not available on the new MacMini. It is really well built and has a wide brightness adjustment range to suit all room situations. A great bu
