Avoid if you have an M4 pro Mac
This monitor works perfectly with my M1 MacBook Pro, but is completely broken with my new M4 Pro MacBook Pro. Every single time I connect via USB-C, I have to restart my laptop to get it to work. It's clearly a Thunderbolt 5 compatibility issue that ASUS hasn't fixed. For a premium display, this is unacceptable. The constant restart requirement makes it unusable for professional work. Works fine with older Macs, but don't waste your money if you have an M4. ASUS needs to fix their Thunderbolt 5 compatibility immediately

a vertical shadow has appeared on the monitor
After using it for 6 months, a vertical shadow has appeared on the monitor, which is very annoying, and Asus does not accept this and says that Amazon should bear it.

Excelente monitor para edición y trabajo creativo Estoy muy contento con este ASUS ProArt. La calidad de imagen es excelente, los colores se ven muy precisos y resulta ideal para edición de vídeo y fotografía. Además, tiene un diseño profesional y cómodo para trabajar durante varias horas. Para alguien que utiliza programas como DaVinci Resolve o Lightroom, me parece una opción muy recomendable por su calidad y prestaciones.

Excellent 27" 4K monitor for photo, video and everyday work
I bought the ASUS ProArt PA279CV as a main monitor for both photo/video editing and general work, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. The 27" 4K panel is very sharp, so text looks crisp and detailed, and photos and videos have a real “finished” look to them. Colours are rich but natural, and straight out of the box it looks far more accurate than a typical office or gaming screen, which is exactly what you want for any kind of creative work. One of the big selling points for me was that it’s designed for colour-critical use. It covers 100% sRGB and Rec.709 and comes factory-calibrated and Calman Verified, with a quoted ΔE < 2, so you get proper confidence that what you see on screen will match prints and clients’ devices. The built-in ProArt presets and on-screen controls make it easy to switch between different colour spaces and adjust things like gamma and colour temperature without needing extra software. Connectivity and convenience are also excellent. The USB-C port can carry video, data and power, so with a compatible laptop you can plug in a single cable for display, hub and charging, which really tidies up the desk. There are also DisplayPort, HDMI and a USB hub, so it’s easy to hook up a desktop, laptop and peripherals at the same time. The stand is another strong point: it offers height, tilt, swivel and pivot, so you can get the screen exactly where you want it, including rotating it to portrait for coding or reading long documents. The ergonomics and the flicker-free, low blue-light features help reduce eye strain when you’re in front of it all day. Overall, this is a very well thought-out monitor that balances professional features with everyday usability. I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, colour-accurate 4K display for creative work and productivity.
NO Australian Power Cable
Received the monitor this morning, It did not come with the AU power cable, the two cables that were with the monitor where for UK/CA and EU. I have contacted ASUS Australia, they have asked me to contact the supplier. How do I get the power cable that is for Australia.
