Great but flickers a lot when using VRR

Came in great condition and had no issues like dead pixels or anything but it got a problem when using VRR flickers a lot

The best in the market. You should have an rtx 5080 to run games at 100+ fps on 4k.

If you mainly play competitive games and cate for fps get a monitor with 480Hz as a base

I absolutely lovee this thing! amazing colors, clarity perfect for people who enjoy playing story driven or open world games, the only thing I ‘d say is that it’s a hassle to switch between modes not from the monitor itself but from the PC and games I just keep it at 4k 240Hz and it performs flawlessly for both competitive games and others FYI: I have a 4080 RTX

Warning: Warranty only valid in Italy

I purchased this ASUS ROG monitor through Amazon.ae in the UAE. After contacting ASUS regarding warranty support, ASUS confirmed in writing that, based on the serial number, this unit has a local warranty only in Italy and that warranty service can only be claimed there. As a UAE customer, I was very disappointed to discover that the unit I received cannot receive ASUS warranty service locally in the UAE. ASUS advised me to contact the reseller regarding warranty claims. Buyers in the UAE should verify the warranty region with the seller before purchasing, especially for an expensive monitor like this. Had I known that my unit’s ASUS warranty was restricted to Italy, it would have affected my purchase decision.

good overall but lot of issues

The best image quality, nothing to say about it. But i had many issues i had to return it and get another one. i had image retention in extreme level every 1mn, also a weird bleu and black pattern when i turn off or leave the screen in sleep mode, also firmware issues where the screen is constantly tracking the used hours even when its OFF, finally i tried to update the firmware but it was unsuccessful even with my new unit.

Superbe écran

écran qui propose de très belles couleur, la différence est bluffante lorsqu'on viens d'une dalle IPS (même une bonne dalle). Cependant les couleurs sont très saturée d'origine et donnent un rendu qui est moins bon (cela reste de la préférence), après avoir fait mes propres réglages j'étais bluffé de la qualité des couleurs et à quel point le noir profond de l'Oled peut changer les perspective. Je tiens tout de même à souligner qu'un tel écran n'est absolument pas nécessaire surtout pour des fans de jeux compétitifs, au vu du prix certaines personnes pourraient être déçues surtout ceux qui jouent à des FPS type CS2, pour une personne qui joue à des jeux solo l'écran est une réelle valeur ajoutée, la dalle glossy trueblack ne donne pas l'impression "qu'on regarde un écran" dans le noir et permet vraiment une immersion plus poussée. Il faut parcontre noter que la mise a jour du firmware est une galère sans nom.. j'ai utilisé le cable usb b fournis et ça a finis par fonctionner au bout de la 4ème tentative. Pour conclure, je dirais que cet écran est bluffant mais qu'il n'est pas pour les personnes avide de jeux "compét" ou les graphisme n'ont pas leurs importance, pour ce prix il y a des écrans beaucoup plus intéressant pour ces personnes. Si vous êtes quelqu'un qui apprécie les jeux solo la parcontre, c'est une autre histoire, les jeux n'en sont que plus immersif et je vous recommande cet écran !

Beste OLED monitor van het moment!

Het is lastig om kritisch te zijn op zo'n prachtig product. De combinatie van een 4K-resolutie, de adembenemende True Black Glossy coating, de "inky blacks" en de spetterende kleuren maken het een makkelijk aan te raden monitor. Ik kom van een 32" 1440p VA paneel van Samsung en hoewel ik altijd dacht dat het scherm er mooi uit zag, zijn mijn ogen nu geopend. Omdat OLED monitoren erom bekend staan dat de helderheid vrij laag is, was ik in eerste instantie bang dat de monitor te donker zou zijn. Ik ben namelijk iemand die z'n monitoren altijd op 100% brightness heeft staan. Maar, en ik kan niet uitleggen hoe, de helderheid is perfect. Ik zie eigenlijk helemaal geen verschil qua helderheid met mijn VA paneel. De OLED-beschermingsfunctionaliteiten zijn ook geweldig. Je ondervindt er eigenlijk geen hinder van, omdat bijvoorbeeld de Pixel Refresh uitgevoerd wordt als de monitor op stand-by staat, maar ze zorgen ervoor dat je OLED paneel zo lang mogelijk mee gaat. Als ik één kritisch puntje zou moeten noemen, dan zou dat de NEO-Proximity sensor zijn. Deze sensor zou de monitor automatisch uit moeten schakelen zodra je bij het scherm weg loopt, maar het duurt een goede 3 minuten voordat het scherm op stand-by gaat. Dat heb ik ook al op Windows ingesteld, dus dat heeft geen enkele toegevoegde waarde. Daar hadden ze meer mee kunnen doen. Lang verhaal kort: Premium product dat de relatief hoge instap prijs wat mij betreft meer dan waard is. Zoek je een OLED monitor en heb je het geld er voor over? Met dit scherm kun je echt de mist niet in gaan.

Amazing

Amazing monitor. Came well packaged and is a beast. Screen is sharp and the colours are amazing. The dual mode is useful to have and does its job. It is on the pricy side but it is very much worth it if you can spend the money. 240hz is plenty at 4k. It’s good for future proofing. Games and text look crisp. I’ve not had any issues like others. No burn in at all. I just let it go into standby and let it pixel clean itself when I’m not using the monitor. Overall a very good panel and worth getting if you can.
