Really good, replaced my standard case fans with these.Absolutely quiet and has made a 25° decrease from what I was experiencing prior.
Fantastic airflow and build quality — shines when properly tuned
I picked up the ARCTIC P14 Pro PST specifically for case airflow in a noise-sensitive build, and overall it’s an excellent fan — with one important caveat: it really rewards proper fan curve tuning. At low RPM, this fan is outstanding. Once dialed in, it moves a surprising amount of air while remaining very quiet, making it an excellent case fan for anyone prioritizing airflow without constant noise. You do need to put some effort into setting custom PWM curves to keep it in this sweet spot. Letting it ramp aggressively into the higher RPM range results in a noticeable jump in noise. At full speed, it gets quite loud — but it also pushes an impressive amount of air. Raw airflow performance is clearly a major strength here. Build quality is top-tier for the price. The frame feels rigid, the blades are well balanced, and overall it looks and feels more like a premium fan than a budget one. I didn’t notice any mechanical buzzing or wobble, even during RPM changes, and vibration was well controlled in my setup. One mounting note worth sharing: if you install this fan with the blades facing directly toward a restrictive surface (mesh panel, dust filter, radiator fins, etc.), the blade design can create odd harmonic noise when positioned too close. Using fan spacers or standoffs to add a bit of distance completely resolved this for me. With even a small gap to smooth airflow entry, the harmonics disappeared and the fan behaved normally again. PST daisy-chaining is a nice quality-of-life feature for cleaner cable management and unified PWM control. Erwartungen erfüllt
Ich verbaue schon seit einiger Zeit Lüfter von Arctic. Da ich mit den 120mm Lüftern sehr zufrieden bin, habe ich auch bei 140 mm hier zu gegriffen. Im Gegensatz zu den P14 läuft der P14 Pro sogar noch etwas ruhiger bei gleichen Drehzahlen. Bis 800 RPM sind sie kaum zu hören. Sie geben nur ein leises Rauschen von sich, welches nicht stört. Brummen oder Surren tritt im Gegensatz zu den "einfacheren" P14 hier nicht auf. Der Luftdurchsatz ist aber völlig ausreichend. Steigert man die Drehzahl bis ca. 1100 RPM sind sie zu hören, aber zu ertragen. Bei voller Leistung bewegen sie viel Luft, machen aber auch ordentlich Lärm. Also leise im normalen Gebrauch, aber viele Reserven, wenn diese benötigt werden. Ich betreibe zwei Lüfter an einem Mainboardstecker an der Vorderfront meines Gehäuses und habe die Lüfterkuve im BIOS so eingestellt, dass sie ab 60°C richtig hochfahren. Das Temperaturmaximun meiner CPU lag bisher bei 61°C unter Vollast. Die GRAKA hat auch nur im Hotspot höhere Werte.
Quiet when you want them to be, powerful when you need them to be.
These are some good 140mm fans! They're sturdy and manufactured to tight tolerances so they don't wobble in use and make excess noise. When pressed, they push a lot of air! Do note however that they are quite loud if you just plug them in and use the default fan profile, since they'll likely spin right up to a high RPM. If you want to use them as case fans and are looking for them to be silent, you'll want to dial in a fan curve (either in your BIOS/UEFI or in software) to make sure that it's spending most of its time at 5%. Once I did that, totally fine, whisper-quiet at around 500RPM but still pushing a decent amount of air. But I can still have them push a lot of air if I need them to. You probably know what you're doing; I probably don't need to say that. But it was a learning experience for me so I figured I'd pass it on. I bought two of them for my PC case and overall, I'm very happy with it!
Noctua killers
Price to quality ratio is insane. I am a previously faithful Noctua customer, but think that their prices nowadays are beyond reasonable. I am glad to say that these fan lived up to the hype. 5/5.
Calidad total en su precio. Imbatible
No busques más. Si necesitas un ventilador en este tamaño para presión estática (entiéndase para radiadores) aquí tiene una referencia absoluta en relación calidad precio. Sin luces ni historias, sólo calidad y efectividad. Los habrá mejores (pero no por mucho) y por lo que te costaría uno compras tres de esta maravilla.
