But I'm biased
I was offered this monitor as a warranty replacement for a different AOC monitor, and I almost didn't take it. It is ugly, and loud. And, it turns out, I love it. The bad - the screen is prone to stuck pixels that come and go. It gets scratched very easily, even under circumstances where other computer monitors haven't scratched for me. I really didn't like the bold and black League of Legends text on the bottom of the stand, to the extent that I removed it with acetone. The colors outside of gaming are likely completely inaccurate. When I use Zoom or a web browser, there's a red tinge. Text isn't the most legible either. The headphone stand is absolutely LAUGHABLE and serves no purpose, especially if you keep your secondary monitor to your right. It's hard to get in and out and I don't know why they bothered putting it in. The good - I love the little navigational thingy that allows you to change all of the settings in the monitor. It's very convenient and it allows you to set profiles to change the colors quickly. There are many settings, and the RGB on the stand of the monitor is interesting and there's fun settings. It's big, it's got a nice refresh rate, and in gaming, I love the rich colors. Would I recommend this monitor to other people? You know, I'm honestly not sure on that. Because the thing that makes me love this monitor more than any other monitor I've ever used is subjective. It doesn't hurt my eyes to stare at it for hours. I'm very photosensitive, and every other monitor I've tried, including my secondary monitor, does hurt my eyes. I don't have headaches, I can game for hours, and it's just a lovely quality of life thing for me. I bought another one when it looked like it was getting discontinued because nothing else has done right by my eyes. Well worth the money, even though it needed some modification to not offend me with its absolute ugliness.
