Decent but has got problems

Decent specs but I had several issues and ended up returning my unit. I understand contrast can be poor for ips panels but this is very bad. The backlight just doesn't get dark enough resulting in a very poor contrast ratio. White balance also appeared to be off resulting in a yellow tint despite the monitor being factory calibrated. There is also no way to adjust the color balance when in HDR mode and no way to adjust the overdrive features to help with ghosting when in variable refreshrate mode. This is probably an OK monitor if you are gaming but if you want to make use of the high color gamut to do professional work or media viewing I would avoid it because of the limited contrast ratio and hdr color balance control. The backlight rgb lighting on my monitor was also defective which isn't such a big deal. Otherwise it was a decent monitor with uniformity and no dead pixels.

Good product, bad durability and design

The acer predator series is always competing to stand out against all the other gaming merchandise that is out there. However, with every acer/predator product I have received while the quality is great the build is complete and utter trash. The picture you receive in this monitor is amazing and I would say it could be worth the 700 dollar price point. But when it came to mine personally I have my mic stand barley bump the screen and the panel just started having pixel distortion and tears. I was shocked (still am) that it even broke the way it did. Reviewing all my predator products I've received over the years. Seems to be a consistent history of let down after letdown with the quality of builds. You would think something so heavy and giant it would be able to withstand something as small as a mic stand bump. You're monitor might work just fine but when it comes to personal ideas of monitors. I will never buy predator/acer products again.

Looks good..at first

Thought this was going to be a great monitor from what I had read. Reviews looked good and quality seemed decent. For the first few months, everything was fine. But when I upgraded my monitors and made this one my 2nd monitor..things started breaking. First back in May, the monitor completely stopped displaying anything..wouldn’t even get a black screen..just dead. I reached out to Acer and since i was under warranty, they had me send it back(which was a major hassle within itself), and then wait for it to be fixed and sent back. Took weeks and weeks to finally get it back. Seemed to work again and I was very happy! Well come yesterday, and the monitor took a poop again on me. This time it registers and turns on, but won’t connect to my PC no matter what I do to remedy it. Now I’m worried if I send it back again..it’s just gonna be a temp fix and few months down the line I’ll be dealing with an issue again. And by that time, I’ll more than likely be out of warranty and now stuck with an expensive paper weight. So ya I’d spend your money else where..avoid the headache I’ve dealt with

Bretty gud

The panel is way better than my ViewSonic 1440p IPS monitor. I didn't realize it had rgb on the back so that's neat 🙂 I don't know much about monitor specs but for the $300 I paid it seems pretty solid. The menu interface is easy to use. Has one dead pixel, not sure if Acer would rma it for just one but I'm not dissatisfied.

Excelente monitor ( no sé si será longevo)
