My work laptop was starting to show its age and I was looking for a replacement. I realized that I really do not need a laptop because I am only traveling a few trips a year, so I decided to buy this AceMagic K1 mini PC. It is a really nice machine and is runs much faster than the laptop. If I do need to travel with this, I have a portable screen that I can use to take this on the road. I generally run 3 displays (laptop screen + 2 monitors) and this PC lets me run three using USB-C, HDMI, and Display port outputs. With my laptop I needed a hub to run all of my stuff, but this has 7 USB ports (6 USB-A and 1 USB-C) so I am able to connect everything I need. The box also includes a RJ-45 jack and audio out. In my job I run database and report writer apps, as well as a good bit of website apps. This machine loads my most load-intensive (database) system quickly and handles all of my work quickly. It runs smoothly with the included 16GB memory, but it can be upgraded up to 64GB if needed. I will likely upgrade to 32GB to ensure that everything I throw at it will be handled. The mini PC comes with a power supply, Windows 11 Pro, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth. The processor includes a Radeon GPU which works great. The Ryzen 5 processor is snappy, and the combination of processor and GPU is powerful enough to handle some basic gaming. My use case is my business workload and this is a perfect fit. As a replacement for my laptop this has been a great purchase.
