Amazing quality and value
I got these to use along with a wired/battery powered in-ear monitor amplifier and tested them both with that and with a direct connection to my phone playing a reference song I am familiar with. Right out of the box, these are very high quality and attractive headphones. I would say they are a steal at their price point compared to what is normally available in that price range. I have an ancient pair of Shure e2c earbuds, and did a side-by-side comparison in terms of fit and audio quality, and frankly I'm blown away. I know my old headphones cost about 6x as much as these do when I bought them years ago, so to have similar sound quality at this low a price point is impressive. Highs are clear and bright, and there is good bass response. Compared to my other headphones, these are also slightly louder and the same volume levels, which allows them to get very loud at full volume, which would be probably too high for comfort and safety, so some caution is needed at higher volumes. As for comfort, these felt really good with the default sized inserts, and the overall shape and size fit well in my ear. I've used other sub-$20 and more expensive headphones that sound far worse, aren't connectorized, and don't have remotely similar build quality. Highly recommended.

Decent budget IEM choice for fans of the harman curve, but KZ has done better
To get it out of the way, everyone's ears are different, so this review is bound to be pretty subjective. With that being said, if you know you enjoy the harman target curve (V shaped, boosted treble and bass), you might like these. KZ is known for tuning their IEMs for a sparkly high end and subwoofer-like bass, and these are no different. They aren't reference earbuds or for very serious critical listening, but they are still fun. These are decent if you know what you're getting into, but I'd give a much stronger recommendation to a different pair of KZ IEMs (see bottom). What I like For budget IEMs, KZ has the formula down. Packaging is simple but quality, the monitors themselves feel well constructed for any price point, and the cable provided isn't half bad either. They're very, very comfortable, and fit my ears almost like they're custom formed. Great seal, which makes for solid passive noise cancellation. Not the best I've heard, but up there. In terms of sound, as stated, they're clearly tuned to the harman curve, so the high end has that sparkle to it, and the sub bass extension is pretty good. For those coming from traditionally bass-heavy audio gear like Skullcandy or Beats, it's not going to meet expectations of earth-shattering bass, but when compared to gear targeting a flat reference curve, it's clearly punchier. Mids aren't pushed into the corner either, they're still present. What I don't The highs are boosted here for sure, but not in a very refined way. For those sensitive to the sibilants in music (the piercing SSS high pitched sounds), they're definitely on the harsh side, to the point where some may not be able to turn the volume up very high on certain tracks. On the topic of volume, these IEMs are possibly the single most power-sensitive pair I have ever worn. They want very, very little volume, which I strongly dislike, as it makes it easy to damage your hearing if you leave the volume a little too high from something else you were using. Se

I prefer these over any popular earbud
I’ve been using these for about a month, mostly once or twice a week for music, podcasts, and some video editing. The sound is full and accurate, with deep bass, clear mids, and detailed highs. They really shine with well-recorded material. On acoustic tracks the instruments have natural separation, vocals come through clean, and electronic music shows off the bass response without distortion. Spoken word is crisp and easy to follow, which makes long podcasts comfortable to listen to. Comfort is excellent. I’ve worn them for over three hours at a time with no irritation. The over-ear design takes a short adjustment period, but once you’re used to it they stay secure even while moving around. The detachable cable hasn’t shown any wear and adds flexibility. I usually use them with my phone through a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, or pair them with KZ’s optional Bluetooth receiver when I want them wireless. At home, I sometimes connect them through an external DAC for lossless audio, which makes the most of their capability. Having the choice between wired and wireless with the same IEMs is a big advantage. If you’re used to basic earbuds, these are a clear step up in both sound and versatility.
