I can actually "write" my Great American Novel now ;-)
I looked into every viable option for a writing tablet, and I finally landed on this one. This search has taken literal years. I've been working on my "Great American Novel" and had grown weary of using a laptop and keyboard for my writing. but the options to more to electronic writing were either severely limited in their capabilities, or they require a subscription, (some times both) but all the options seemed unreasonably expensive. I'd pretty quickly realized that I wanted an e-ink screen and a large one at that, the BOOX Note Air 5 C, has one of the larger screens available but not the largest, so a little bit of a compromise as I was hoping to get a screen that was a true 8.5 x 11, as it is the BOOX is more than large enough. I realize now that a larger screen device would be kind of cumbersome to use. The BOOX also has a feature I didn't want, it's that little alley of unusable real estate along the left side of the screen, but as it turns out, that area is critical for ease of use because it makes holding the table much easier because there is a natural place for your thumb to rest while you're writing, without it there would have to be a software solution that rejected your thumb placement what could cause strange anomalies. One of the main reasons I selected this tablet was it's lack of a need for a subscription and it's ability to function as an android 15 tablet. It's not an ideal android tablet, but it isn't limited strictly to a writing device and being that it's android it can easily connect to my network storage devices. Some of the available tables don't include a stylus in their base price - which is ridiculous for a writing device - The BOOX includes the writing "pen" and that "pen" includes 4 writing tips (one installed and 3 under the rear cap) so I was able to start writing as soon as I took it out of the box and charged it up. The stylus/pen includes a strong magnet to hold it to the side of the table when it's not being used, there are two ma

My review after two weeks of use
I have used a Nova Boox 2 for five years and it was great; all my lessons, courses, and notes were on it. After this time, I decided to change because my device fell and its screen broke, knowing that it withstood many hits and did not malfunction, and even when its screen was scratched, it still worked well. I started looking for a new device, and after a period of reviews, I decided to buy this color tablet. I am sharing my experience after two weeks of use and telling you that seeing a color reader after this period was amazing, and the device is wonderful and fast. I added memory to it, and it was excellent, and transferring notes was smooth after connecting the device to the same account on the old device, and not much changed in the system interface, and it was easy. I tell you after this period of use, I do not regret buying it, especially after buying the Boox Pro 2 pen. As for its drawbacks, the pen that comes with it is large and I didn't like it, so I bought the Pro 2 pen. Also, there is a screen shadow problem, but it disappears if you activate the quick refresh mode, which is not a big problem that affects the quality of the device and its system. Thank you, Boox, they did not disappoint me.

Good balanced e ink device with great onenote writing experience.
Boox tab is very useful e ink device. 1) if you are looking to use onenote app with great note taking experience, this is one eink tablet that will meet the expectations with nearly zero lag. I have tried ipad, other android tablets, huion e inkand big me eink. 2) writing feel is much better than ipad 3) native book reader app and calender apps with date wise memo and reminder features are great 4) on can use Outlook, WhatsApp, gmail, teams (without video) etc without much difficulty 5) device overall looks sleek 6) since it's a e ink device it's bound to be slower than other tablets but if your eyes are sensitive to bright backlit tablets, form function should help you doing lot of tasks independ of mobile and laptop such replying to emails, reading books, taking detailed notes. Personally it has helped me free almost 3 hours equivalent of backlit screen time on laptop and mobile daily basis. Lot less due pain/dry eyes 6) device is little heavy for single hand use 7) battery lasts about 8 hours of regular note taking and net surfing/book reading. 8) charging timeis about 1 hour from 20 to 80 percent. Lastly seller Mr Sunny Dahiya is super helpful and you can easily connect with him for any support in using the device.
