Good Book! Well Worth The Money!
As a RC hobbyist, I pick up a book like this in hopes of getting one or two really useful ideas or insights. I was delighted with the straightforward, basically non-technical presentation of 2.4 GHz radio control theory and applications. Anyone new to the sport will definitely benefit from the discussion of antennas, interference, modulation, and the advantages and disadvantages of using 2.4 GHz for radio control. Even those with considerable experience may well gain new knowledge and/or insights which will benefit them in their hobby. The more you understand about the usefulness and limitations of 2.4 GHz the less likely you are to lose or crash a model due to loss of signal. I might add that I have a degree in Physics, one of my hobbies is electronics, and I'm a Registered Professional Engineer. Even with that, I feel I learned a lot from this book.
