Cheap welding nozzle cleaners, not suitable for real guitar work.
This 6‑piece needle file set doesn't even look decent at first glance, and the description is also misleading. The steel files feel soft - especially the thinnest ones, the profiles aren’t well defined, and the overall finish is rough. For guitar nut slotting, precision matters, and these don’t offer the control or consistency you need - but they will suffice for rounding out the bottom of a tight slot at a push. They’re fine for very light hobby use or quick shaping on non‑critical materials, but I wouldn’t rely on them for proper instrument work. The set includes 13 different thickness files and not 6 as described, a very rough-and-ready file, and a sizing gauge on the rear of the case relating to welding nozzle sizes. For anyone serious about guitar setup or luthier tasks - invest in a proper set of nut slotting files. This set is likely to frustrate or cause damage, more than help. It’s inexpensive, but the performance reflects that.
