Quality monitor, worth the price.
Finally a monitor that is designed for and works seamlessly with Mac. The resolution is great on this, I love that my MacBook charges while displaying as it has thunderbolt ports, the size is great too. I can also control the volume through my MacBook and the display settings. Overall it is a great product. A little pricey but well-worth it!!
Don’t even hesitate just buy it
This is a fantastic monitor. I have a Mac studio monitor needed a second one for the work that I do didn’t want to invest another $1500. I saw all these YouTube videos talking about these Ben Q monitors and side-by-side comparisons with a Mac studio. For 1/3 the price don’t even hesitate, buy the monitor. It’s a third of the cost of a max studio and actually not just Mac studio comparable LG‘s. Plus it comes with the stand that you can rotate it 360° you can raise and lower it and you can tilt it. You have to pay $400 more for that if you buy other brands. The picture quality is great side-by-side with the Mac studio. It’s pretty darn close. That said I guess it depends on what you do for a living. I do accounting. I look at spreadsheets and numbers all day. But on a poor quality monitors, there is haziness around the edges and the number don't appear sharp and crisp. Plus I’m of an age where I need a good quality monitor to be able to look at it all day. This doesn’t have the edge feathering around the letters and numbers. The brightness is the big thing I like about my Mac studio because it makes it easier to see, especially for older eyes and this one is pretty darn close. The other main difference is this is a plastic body and stand. Mac Studios are all metal but again it’s 1/3 the cost. It’s just a fantastic monitor for the price. I would highly recommend that you buy this. The one that I bought, they have several on Amazon, is a widescreen and it’s fabulous. I feel like I have three monitors. As I said, it may depend on the use. I don’t know how it would be for gaming. It does have a high refresh rate. But I’m not a gamer so I can’t really say. I do some light video editing on this. But I’m not a professional. I don’t do this for a living eight hours a day. For those people they may find flaws with it. But to a normal human eye, you’re gonna be thrilled with the quality. I also got the glossy screen just like my Mac studio it’s a preference so just for referen
Buy this instead of an apple monitor
I purchased this monitor to go with an M5 mac mini instead of an apple monitor and I am happy I did. I saved about $800. This monitor is beautiful, works out of the box, and if the apple monitor is better, I doubt my eyes would be able to detect it. Speaking of boxes, the shipping box is an engineering marvel. The inside is cardboard folded to make the protective pieces for it to travel. I was suitably impressed by the paper engineering. I highly recommend this. I do not think you will be disappointed. I know if you are a classic Apple person, like I am, you will be tempted to buy all apple but seriously, save your money. I have the apple keyboard, mouse, computer...glad I went with this monitor. It is also good looking if you care about that. It's huge!
Great size, resolution and value for the money
I had been considering this monitor for a while and finally decided to go for it. I am very happy with it. The 32inch screen is so much better than working of the smaller MacBook Pro laptop screen. The colors match the MacBook perfectly as described. Set up was quick and easy.
Amazing Monitor
I got this monitor to go with a Mac Mini and I have to say I'm Impressed. I got the Mac Mini to replace an iMac desktop and the only way to get the exact specs of the iMac monitor is to spend almost $2k at Apple for a Studio Display. This monitor in the nano glass is almost as good. Since I don't work in art or photography professionally this monitor is perfect for my needs at 1/3 the price. I'm using it with a Thunderbolt USB cable and could use HDMI if I wanted. I don't do any gaming but even if I did all the reviews indicate this would be sufficient. If you're looking for an external monitor for a Mac this one is the one to get. I've watched dozens of reviews and read too many top 10 lists and the BenQ is usually at the top of most lists.
