It’s completely unreliable!
Worst monitor and camera combo ever. The monitor constantly says it’s unable to play the video feed even if I’m standing outside the room and clearly in range of the camera. I’ll click the retry button and turn it on and off multiple times and the video will not connect. It’s so unreliable and extremely frustrating. It will also disconnect randomly throughout the night even though I am in range of the camera. It’s awful.

Great item. Very easy to install and use.
Not great
Pros: Super sharp and crisp wide angle image. Really solid and well built - feels premium. I like how it focuses on the baby with the press of a button. Cons: speaker on the camera is abysmal, white noise and lullaby options are functionally useless. Camera weighs a ton and you can't clip it to a cot. Placing it on a shelf limits the view of the baby, defeating the purpose of the camera. Battery life is very average for how heavy it is Connection is choppy, the sound even breaks on the local monitor which again defeats the purpose of a baby monitor. The deal-breaker was that the app helped itself to 6GB of mobile data in 1 day. I disabled background use but it didn't help. I had to disable notifications which helped but for the last time, that defeats the purpose of the baby monitor. I really wanted to like it but it's not useful to us at all over a cheap alternative. Maybe for a 1-2 year old toddler but not at all for an infant.
Horrible design and performance (and haunted!)
Dont recommend Camera has almost no battery life You charge in evening And next morning already empty Plus separate chargers for screen and camera! Why That what we need, even more cables in the house! Even more annoying, the tablet just switched on itself, like it is haunted! And then causes a feedback audio loop, why To wake up the baby Crazy Dont buy this Yes it is cheaper But it is waste of money Spend more Get better
Connectivity is really bad
This thing is useless - given the fact that I have eufy house camera system I really thought this would just be the same, and work well. It doesn’t, there is something wrong with the wifi of the camera in general - after reading other comments I saw the dropping of wifi and failure to connect is sommering common
Critical feature not working - hope you live in a small home
Smart connect should allow the monitor to connect over our mesh wifi network when the point to point connection is weak. It doesn't work which makes it useless in a medium size home. The signal even dropped to the lowest bar from the room next door. I had two of these, both with the latest firmware, both with the same issue and no support from eufy

Monitor broke 1 months after use and the seller isn’t helping!!!! I contacted the seller multiple times to sort this out and they’re not helping!!!!!!!
Very pleased with this system
This is an excellent product in every way. Here I compare and contrast it to the “Babysense 5.5” 1080p Full HD Split-Screen Baby Monitor, Video Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras and Audio, 6-Color RGB Night Light, 1000ft Range, Two-Way Audio, 4X Zoom, 5000mAh Battery,” which I bought first but am returning. One principal difference is that the eufy is Wi-Fi enabled and the Babysense isn’t. I’m using a two-camera eufy set-up to monitor a kitten nursery, and it’s great to be able to see and hear what’s going on from inside the app, anywhere I have cell or internet service. The app also lets you invite people to look and listen, which is fun. It’s very well done, offering all the controls (and even more) than the supplied monitor. The eufy offers a sharper image and better color rendition, especially in low light. Night-vision is sharper too – very crisp. Everything looks better on the iPhone than the supplied monitor, but the monitor isn’t bad at all. The two monitors are pretty similar in terms of size, appearance and features. Only the eufy allows cameras to be used for nine hours in daylight and five hours of night vision without AC power, which might be useful for trips, but for 24/7 monitoring it’s best to have them plugged in. It’s dangerous to have cords that cats can chew on, but I think the power is stepped down. In any case, I bought plastic spiral cable wrap to enclose them. Focus is better with the eufy. Both brands’ cameras have standard tripod mounts, which is great. There’s a longer lag time between audio and video with the eufy, but it’s livable. Note that in the eufy, if you take a screenshot in Wi-Fi mode, the icon confusingly is a scissors, and that even if you’re zoomed in, the image won’t be. The “baby-seeking” feature of eufy is confusing and seems to work only intermittently. Eufy has four levels of zoom, vs. only three for Babysense. Color-keyed LED scale on Babysense monitor lets you watch for loud sounds rather than having to hear them. The eufy co
