Ceramic Coating in a Tin Can
This is by far my favorite paint protection product I would recommend on any car as of now! I have tried other products in the past, but nothing has come close to this Soft99 Fusso Coat in terms of protection, longevity, and value for the money. However, there are some tips and information that you will need to know before, during, and after applying this product. Make sure you wash the car by using a strip wash. I used dish soap to remove the previous Soft99 Fusso Coat wax, and it surprisingly held up multiple hits which are quite good. Use an iron remover and clay bar on the car to remove any further decontamination. Dry the car and inspect for any swirl marks, marring, and faded paint. Be sure to do an IPA wipe down before starting the compound and polish if necessary. I did both of these steps to the best of my ability with the tools I had. This process could take up nearly the whole day depending on the condition of the paint. After compounding/polishing the whole entire car, do one more IPA wipe down to remove any polishes and residue left on the paint so it is all fresh. Before applying, be sure to soak the foam applicator and wring it out so it is slightly damp. That way, you will get a better application and use less production. Divide each large panel into sections like half a hood. I would apply the wax to different spots of the section before starting to move the product in a crisscross/cross-hatch pattern. Remember, less is more so twist the applicator a few times in the tin can and wipe off any excess wax in the tin can before starting. Apply a thin layer which is crucial to get the best performance out of this product. You can apply this product to 3-4 sections before having to buff off the first section of the car. Curing time for summer would be 5 minutes maximum and 10 minutes for winter. Ideally, you would want to buff off the wax in the 5-8 minute range. Bought this to try out and replace some meguiars stuff i currently have. Have only used it one time since purchase and it was slightly easier to work with than other waxes i have used. Buffing it off was a lot easier than other products i have used previously. Car still has a nice shine after 6 weeks, even although its been very wet and dusty few weeks since its been done. Cant comment on the long term durability just yet.
