Please be aware it may not fit your case!
Unfortunately this screen protector had issues with my case— it couldn’t lay flat and would crease at certain spots. I’m not sure if that’s a user issue but I didn’t think my case would cause problems considering I’ve owned other magnetic paper feel screen protectors before. Another thing is that it isn’t really as scratchy as I thought it’d be. I might’ve gotten a weird one but it didn’t sound or feel from what I’ve seen with other people using the same paper feel screen protector.
genuinely feels like writing on paper, so worth it !
I’ve been using a tempered glass screen protector on my 13-inch iPad Pro, and for the longest time, I’ve been contemplating switching to a paperlike/matte screen protector. I currently have the actual Paperlike brand on my iPad mini, and while it’s ok, the installation process was tedious and wouldn’t apply w/o air bubbles. I wasn’t sure I wanted to make that permanent trade-off on my larger OLED screen. I saw a YouTube reel for the rock paper pencil, showing how it is detachable and can be reapplied. I was excited, but didn’t want to get too excited as I did for my Paperlike screen protector (it’s meh). writing experience and texture compared to Paperlike, Rock Paper Pencil has a noticeably rougher texture, which I absolutely love! i can actually hear the friction as i write. the graphite tip is by far my favorite, as it provides more grip (imo). even with Paperlike, I can still tell that I’m writing on a screen. but w this one it feels much closer to writing on actual paper super satisfying! as for the other ballpoint pen tip it is okay. it gives slightly more grip than the standard Apple pencil tip. installation the installation was super easy. just clean your screen (alcohol wipe and thick cloth is provided), attach the protector, and swipe along the edges. plus there’s a QR code for follow along instructions. one thing worth mentioning is that I already have a tempered glass screen protector installed on my iPad Pro, however, the Rock Paper Pencil attaches over it w/o any issues. I haven’t experienced any problems w touch sensitivity or responsiveness. I don’t have to tap or press harder, light normal taps work. this might vary depending on the thickness of your existing screen protector, but I’m using a regular tempered glass protector purchased from Amazon, and everything works perfectly so far. display quality given it’s a matte screen protector, there is a noticeable reduction in display clarity, but that’s why I love the detachable design! as a current gra

Such a well-designed product, extremely easy setup process. Totally worth the price increase from version 3 since it’s reusable and comes with double the number of pencil tips! Zero bubbles with smooth adhesion, perfect texture for my illustrations. Zero glare as well.
Excellent paper and pencil feel on an Apple tablet
The Rock Paper Pencil tablet screen cover is an easy to install screen cover that has an excellent custom feel fit on the Apple iPad Air M2 tablet. It has a cutout for the cameras, and is able to be installed and fits perfectly in a Zugu tablet case. The cover has been very durable over the past month+ I’ve had it installed, and gives a nice anti-glare matte feel. Using the included iPad pencil pro tips has been great and the pen doesn‘t slip / slide on the screen. It gives a nice textured drawing feel. While writing and doodling it doesn‘t feel as though I’m drawing on glass. This has been a great screen cover for me as I wanted the feel of writing on paper with a pen or pencil. I haven’t needed to remove the screen cover to test the reusability and capability to remove and reinstall it. The Limitations are that the Screen cover does give a slight apparently decrease in clarity of the screen due to the matte finish. And it will likely only provide limited protection from damage by scratches, and likely none from impact damage. For me the cover is a 5/5 as it is an excellent paper and pencil feel and meets my drawing and writing needs!
