Sehr angenehm
Das Papier fühlt sich von der Haptik her sehr angenehm an. Mit 300g/m² ist es voluminös genug, um auch das Aquarellieren Nass im Nass ausführen zu können, ohne dass das Papier sich großartig wellt. (Es gibt wohl eine neuere Variante, die eher einen rundum geleimten Block anbietet als ein Skizzenbuch zum Blättern.) Das Skizzenbuch ist so hochwertig, dass es einlädt, mehr als nur Skizzen anzufertigen. Der Preis ist meiner Meinung nach in Ordnung. Wenn die 20 Blatt (real 40 Seiten, da das Papier so dick ist, dass kaum etwas durchfärbt) verbraucht sind, werde ich wieder mit diesem Produkt liebäugeln, die Angebote der Konkurrenz jedoch nicht aus den Augen verlieren.

Wunderschönes Sketchbook für kleine Aquarellbilder
Wenn man zwischendurch mal ein bisschen Aquarell pinseln möchte oder eine neue Technik ausporbieren möchte, ist dieses Sketchbook ideal. Wenn das Buch dann irgendwann mal voll ist, hat mein ein schönes Bilderbuch.

Pretty good
I mostly like this paper for practice, for sketching with watercolor. The book is well made, and each page is perforated so you can remove any accidental masterpieces. It is a decent paper for the price, though not my favorite watercolor paper. I would say it’s one of the best lower priced 100% cotton papers I have tried. Bought one for my niece too.

Solides 100% Baumwollskizzenbuch, Hot-Pressed
Das Paul-Rubens Skizzenbuch ist etwas kleiner als das traditionelle Din A5, vergleichbar mit dem Din A5 von Moleskine, was ja auch etwas kleiner ist. Das Papier ist hot pressed und smooth, macht Spaß mit Gouache. Aquarell funktioniert natürlich auch gut, aber man muss die Eigenschaften von hot pressed mögen. Die einzelnen Seiten sind perforiert und können mehr oder weniger umständlich aus dem Buch genommen werden. Ansonsten ganz gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für 100% Baumwollpapier, allerdings über die Monate teurer geworden. Wenns im Angebot für um die 13Euro ist, sollte man es auf jeden Fall mal ausprobieren.
