Outstanding Customer Service
We purchased our Anycubic Kobra 3 Max Combo from Amazon back in late May/early June, and while it hasn’t been a perfectly smooth ride, the experience has been outstanding—thanks to both the printer itself and Anycubic’s customer service. The first couple of prints went beautifully, but then we ran into some issues (entirely user error!). We didn’t have the tubes loose enough, which caused the print head to get knocked out of alignment and dig into the plate—completely ruining it. We reached out to Anycubic support, and they patiently troubleshot with us, then sent a replacement print head and plate. After installing those, one of the motors froze up from plate shavings that had gotten in during the earlier mishap. Again, support was quick to respond and immediately sent us two brand-new motors. Now, the machine is running perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier. Honestly, my husband was ready to give up and return the printer altogether, but the top-notch support team won us over. Their responsiveness and willingness to stand behind their product gave us the confidence to stick with it—and we’re so glad we did. In fact, we were so impressed that we just bought a second Kobra 3 Max Combo during Anycubic’s Labor Day 10th anniversary sale! This printer is a fantastic machine once it’s dialed in, and the customer service alone makes it worth the investment. Highly recommend!
Disappointing Experience with the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max – Not Worth the Hype
I was really excited to get my hands on the Anycubic Kobra 3 Max, hoping for a reliable large-format 3D printer that could handle bigger projects without breaking the bank. Unfortunately, this machine has been nothing but a headache from day one. Let me break down the issues I've encountered. First and foremost, the print quality is abysmal. No matter how much I calibrated the bed, adjusted the nozzle temperature, or tinkered with the settings in Cura, the prints came out with severe layer shifts, stringing, and warping. Even simple models like a basic cube ended up looking like they were melted in a microwave. The auto-leveling system, which is supposed to be a selling point, failed repeatedly – it would probe the bed unevenly, leading to inconsistent adhesion. I wasted so much filament trying to get a decent print, and half the time, the first layer wouldn't stick properly, causing the whole thing to fail midway. Beyond print quality, there were other frustrating problems. The assembly instructions were vague and poorly translated, making setup take twice as long as it should have. Once running, the printer is incredibly noisy – the fans sound like a jet engine, and it's impossible to have it in the same room while working. The touchscreen interface is laggy and unresponsive at times, freezing up during operations. I also had issues with the filament runout sensor; it triggered falsely multiple times, pausing prints unnecessarily. And don't get me started on the build quality – the frame feels flimsy for such a large printer, and one of the belts came loose after just a few hours of use. Customer support from Anycubic was another letdown. I reached out via email about the print issues, and their response was generic troubleshooting steps I'd already tried. No real help or replacement offered. Overall, this printer feels like a rushed product that's not ready for prime time. Llego sin problemas y antes de los esperado, solo tuvo un detalle y es que el marco llego fracturado, espero solo sea un detalle estético y no de funcion
Buen equipo pero con detalles a considerar
Es un equipo que si eres principiante funciona bien, tiene buen tamaño de impresión, imprime rápido y se auto nivela, yo tengo varios años usando otros equipos y aún no logro que deje de tener ghosting las piezas con esta impresora, también considerar que al mes la boquilla se tapó y no la había usado mucho, y a los 2 meses se quebró un rodamiento que venía mal de fábrica, por último el cable donde se conecta al extrusor y la guía de teflon, cuelgan y hacen contacto con las piezas cuando está imprimiendo. Por el precio, el tamaño y la velocidad vale la pena
