easy to disassemble!
cute bottle! instructions are entirely in chinese but it’s actually super easy to take apart to wash or remove the straw mechanism (which was my intent because i don’t like water bottles with straws!)
Good tumbler
This is a pretty solid everyday tumbler. The stainless steel construction does a good job of keeping drinks cold, and I’ve noticed it holds ice for a long time throughout the day. The 20 oz size feels like a good middle ground, not too big but still enough to carry around without refilling constantly. The extendable straw is actually a nice feature and makes it easier to drink without tilting the bottle, especially when driving or on the go. It’s also lightweight enough that it’s easy to carry around without feeling bulky. The only issue I’ve noticed is the lid doesn’t feel completely tighten if you're notnpaying attention. It’s fine for normal use, but I wouldn’t trust it fully if it’s getting tossed into a bag or laid on its side. It hasn’t been a major problem, just something to be aware of depending on how you use it.
good insulation, bad everything else
do not waste your money on this bottle. i have barely had it two months, and it has already become unusable due to the fact that no matter how much or how thoroughly i wash it, there is a lingering bad smell in the spout/drinking part. maybe it is a me-specific thing, as i do have autism, but it is grossing me out so insanely bad that i physically cannot drink from it. there is also the fact that the top comes in multiple parts, and in order to fill the bottle EVERY TIME, you have to unscrew the drinking/spout part. it isn't particularly time-consuming, but gets old quick, especially because you have to screw it in tight enough that the bottle won't leak, which in turn makes it extremely hard to unscrew. it isn't an option to just not put it in, either, because otherwise the lid does not screw on. the only reason i'm giving two stars instead of one is because it has the primary upside of being very good at insulation. my drinks do stay cold for almost, if not, the whole day. the decor is also cute, but you can buy a better quality bottle for a similar price then buy additional decor for fairly cheap, which detracts from this positive. if you are spending this much on a bottle already, please just go with a reputable brand like yeti or owala.
Pretty and Practical, My New Favorite!
I love this bottle way more than I expected to. The lid screws on smoothly and feels secure without having to wrestle with it. The straw pops up easily and presses back down with a little spring action that helps prevent leaks. I have tossed it in my bag without worrying about surprises. Cleaning it is simple, which matters because if something is annoying to wash, I will eventually stop using it. This one comes apart easily and goes back together without confusion. No weird hidden spots that trap water. It is also just really pretty. The colors are soft but fun, and the little charm on the handle makes it feel personal instead of plain. The base has a silicone cover that keeps it from clanking around on my desk and helps protect it from dings. It keeps my drinks cold through the day and feels good in my hand. For something I use constantly, it has been both functional and cute, which is kind of the ideal combination.
