Bought these for testing ended up referring them to friends
Bought these for testing ended up referring them to friends. Great quality. Great noise canceling. Very comfortable. And the boom mic works great nice clean and clear audio receiving and transmitting. It takes AAA’s and they last for some time.
Buy it
It’s the best must buy you won’t regret it
Solid noise cancelling
There is a lot of plastic, the microphone arm, etc. The headset is comfortable, good pads, light weight (for it's function) and good tension. Noise cancelling is great, a far jump from a few years ago. I am impressed at the noise cancelling, far better from earlier generations. Uses two AAA batteries. The battery caps are hard to turn, I do not want to try opening them in the cold with gloves... I guess that is why we carry multi tools. The connector plug is "Mil-spec", it works well with a separately purchased PTT cable and a radio. Good audio in both directions. Solid noise reduction, it claims 22db, great outdoors, have not used indoors yet. The only drawback is the mediocre headband. I have replaced my headband with a aftermarket band that has better cushioning, and loops for cable control.
Solid Earpro, but Feels Overly Pricy
Decent hearing protection and the sound amplification works well enough at the range. Build quality feels solid and the mic is a nice touch. That said, for the price, I expected a bit more — the features are fairly basic compared to other options in this range, and the fit took some getting used to. It does the job, but I'm not sure the premium price tag is fully justified. Fine if you can catch it on sale, but at full price there are probably better value options out there.
