What a difference quality knives make!
What a difference quality knives make! I have been using an inexpensive set of knives for years that my husband and I bought when we were first married. I decided it was time to upgrade and make an investment in quality. I couldn't be happier with this set! Right away I tested cutting a tomato... and it sliced like butter! I am beyond thrilled with my purchase.
Great seven knives
They were a gift for my daughter. Normally, I would not buy something like this on a Mother’s Day. But it was her request. And she loves them..
Sharp/Great Knives
This was the first "real" knife set that we have purchased. Our previous sets have been mixed and matched and weren't great. I used to work in the food industry and had a JA Henckels chef knife that I still use to this day. These knives are very sharp and the grip feels good and solid in your hand. Some of the knives have very fine tips, so use care when putting them back in the block. Hand wash only. We have had these for about 2 years now and hoping with proper care that they will last for a long time.
Once you pick up one of these knives and use it, you will know your decision was correct
I'm pretty sure that this set I just bought is the fourth set in my lifetime. No question of which is the best set and it's the Henckels. My, what a beautiful set of knives, with one for every need in the kitchen or at dinner. The steel is high quality and the blades are thin, a combination which is ideal for ease of use. What strikes you is the hefty handle and the slender blade, providing a great balance in the hand. And, of course, they come razor sharp and also an excellent sharpener is provided with the set. I don't think there is a competing set of knives on the market which can compare.
Nice looking knife set
So far I really like them. Very cool looking and sharp. I was a bit disappointed when I learned that there is a difference between “Henckles” and “Zwilling JA Henckles” knives . It has nothing to do with these knives I really like them but they are absolutely the bargain version of Henckels knives. The real ones are priced much closer to Wusthof level. That said I’m happy with the purchase and they are definitely worth the price.
