Sizing runs extremely small and cheap material
Runs really small and fits weird. I bought a 7x when I’m usually a 2-3x. I’m 5’6 and 290lbs with DDD’s for reference. I think it fits weird because the boning is made out of cheap materials so it bends a when you cinch in the corset and it doesn’t help the problem if you have a lot of cleavage. As far as fit around the body it works but you’ll have to loosen it a pretty good bit to get it on and then cinch it in because the sizing runs so small and I had to loosen it so much the fabric that goes underneath the ribbon is too small to cover my back which isn’t a problem if you aren’t self conscious about that. Also definitely need a second person to help you get it on correctly.
Pleasantly surprised
Was pleasantly surprised with this corset, it was bought with the thought in mind that being under 20.00 it would be pretty cheaply made and not the best fit, however would probably work for what I wanted it for (cosplay/costume). However, it was well stitched, decent quality fabric, grommets we’re secure, fasteners were reinforced. Is it a high quality corset, no, but for under 20 you can absolutely not beat it. The bust area was a little flimsy, but still for the price I expected a whole lot less. It could absolutely be worn as a stand-alone for a corset top and look really good. Could also be layered over shirts, dresses, etc. and look nice. Will probably end up purchasing more. I would size down though. It was a little large in the belly area even after tightening the laces as far as they could and for a good fitting corset the back panels and laces are what determines the shape and how much compression you want and works better when the seems do not meet and you have room to loosen or tighten where needed for optimal fit and look. It also did not pinch and had some curve to it that wearing it is not uncomfortable or overly restrictive in movement. All in all the price/quality which much higher than expected. Very happy with it
Well-Made and Easy to Cinch, But Don't Order a Size Up!
I'm not sure why other women have said to order two sizes above the company's provided chart. When I did that, the corsets were *much* too large, and I had to exchange them for the size that I originally thought I would fit into before I read all the reviews. I have a 32DDD/32G bust size, but have a 30" waist. The large is a perfect fit for me. My only complaint is that, unless someone is helping you, it can be hard to get the modesty panel to lie flat while you're cinching it up. I have to make the top part of the corset extra wide before I cinch, since I have to accommodate my big bust up top, and that can lead to the modesty panel not quite lying pretty in the back, but it's not a huge deal. Overall, I found it very easy to tighten the corset by myself (breathe out, ladies!), and it looks quite phenomenal once it's on, given the fact that it's not a steel-boned product. I'm definitely happy that I purchased two in different colors.
Sizes run very small.
This product has two reviews from me because i could not clear it. I ordered one and returned it, because of the sizing issue. These come much smaller than the sizing chart or normal sizing. Maybe its asian size. But just order larger than you need. Even ordering the next size up is a little small but I plan on loosing weight, so the next time I go to wear it, I should be fine. The material is nice and thick. It looks as pictured. I bought this to wear as a costume top. On ME the top just barely covers my nipples. It really shows a lot of cleavage and you are barely covered. I am not busty, so if you are this may not be the top for you. I only give this a 4 star because of the sizing discrepancy. It's pretty enough to wear outside the house, as clothing, but I would not. Unless you want to walk around with your boobs hanging out or popping out.
