i have pcos so my weight distribution is different than most women. i weigh 199 pounds and my body type is very insulin resistant. my waist measurement is 40 inches and my hips are 45 inches. i obviously ordered waaaay too big. the silhouette wouldnt be like the advertised unless you disregarded their recommended waistline size and instead ordered two sizes smaller than recommended, then pulled the laces loose at the top then cinched them down the middle. the fabric was darker than expected which was very nice, and the frill at the top actually did look very cute. i have a DD cup size though, and it was so loose on me that when i lifted up my arms i put janet jackson to shame. my boyfriend absolutely loved the lacing on the back, but because it has so much ribboning and the panel under the laces is so large you can absolutely get away with getting a size or two smaller than the measuring chart. i'll be returning this because i thought for a couple hours that i could get away with wearing it over thick fabrics and making it work, it ultimately overlaid too much on the back to allow any actual garment wearing customization underneath.
