Light weight. Comfortable.
Seems ok in first few uses. Lightweight, comfortable for medium duty use. The chord could been made better and longer. Update: 12 July The steam sprayer was leaking with water and the ironbox was not working. However got it replaced under warranty.
Highly Recommended Iron
I was not expecting such quality in this price but it is working really great. Wire of iron is less so I have to use a power extension. But very good quality iron. Highly recommended.
Terrible Design - Don't Waste Your Money
Thinking I could save some money, I bought this Black & Decker steam iron after my reliable Tefal iron fell on the floor and broke. Big mistake! This has to be one of the worst irons I've ever used. First major issue: it's way too light. Without using the water spray function, it barely presses out any creases. You end up working twice as hard just to get basic results. Who designed this? But the most frustrating part has to be the ridiculously short power cord. My home electrical outlets are near the floor, making it impossible for this iron to reach the ironing board properly. I have to use an extension cord just to iron - absolutely ridiculous design flaw. I tried to give it a chance, but after struggling with it for a while, I deeply regret not spending more on a better brand. The only thing this iron has taught me is that sometimes trying to save money ends up costing you more in frustration and wasted time. Never buying Black & Decker products again after this disappointment. Save yourself the hassle and stick with better brands like Tefal

الصراحة ما توقعت ابدا انها تكون لهذه الدرجة يعني تخيل تبحث عن مكوة منذ شهور..!! وفي الاخير تتطيح في وحدة رخيصة و ممتازة في نفس الوقت ؟. يعني تمشيك سنة قدام وما تخليك .. تشتري فلبس او مولينبكس او براون..!! والله خابت الضنون

Auto shut-off isn't working
The iron is meant to auto shut-off if the iron is idle for more than 10min, which is an important safety feature: [...] This feature does not work for the iron I purchased and I'm unable to get through to the Black&Decker helpdesk to request a service. I'm planning to return this item, if this is not fixed. I recently had a harrowing experience with another iron (not B&D) where the thermostat did not work which caused the iron to catch fire and thankfully we put it out before it did too much of damage. The auto shut-off feature is important if the thermostat fails.
Great value for money
I have bought the iron on an offer at a discounted price as a temporary solution until my removal items arrive to my new home, including an expensive steam iron. From the price, I was expecting to receive something a little better than a travel iron. I was so pleasantly surprised! The iron is well made, light but not too light, glides pretty well on all garments, produces plenty of steam, good size water tank, and the self clean function is a plus. The cable is relatively short, but this the case for all new irons, even the most expensive. Only shortfall is the tiny water cup, which you need to fill up at least +3 times to get at the max of the water tank. Overall an excellent product, especially considering the price. I would definitely recommend it.
