NuPhy has taken a radical approach to Halo65’s design language. A band of light, the ‘Halo’, forms the central piece that unites the solid unibody aluminum frame, first seen on a fully assembled keyboard, with the laser-polished ABS base. Enhancing both the grip and the sense of height, the base's wavy, Ionic column inspired side brings vibrancy to the minimalist, achromatic aluminum frame, available in wear-resistant anodized matte black and elctrophoresis-coated ionic white.

The battery capacity is upgraded again. The Halo65 game keyboard has a battery capacity of 4000 mA and can support 240 hours of continuous use. Turn off the light to extend the use time again. In order to bring a better use experience, the key cap is still made of PBT material. However, many users need light transmitting keycaps, so we have introduced ABS light transmitting keycaps (to be purchased separately) to meet different user needs.

Seven switches of different types are included in the package to facilitate users to find the most suitable switch and feel, and serve as a backup switch to prevent damage to individual switches. There are also 17 additional keycaps, which can be replaced according to your preference.
edit 11/29/2023:My keyboard saga did not end with the return of the Halo65. Obviously, I was very angry when I had a keyswitch fail on my new keyboard....so I bought a mechanical keyboard from another company. What a mistake. I missed the Nuphy right away, and that was before discovering all of the problems with my choice of replacement.Needless it to say, I returned the replacement. I'm happy to report that I now have a Nuphy Halo96 on my desk. Really, Nuphy is the best. Still taking one star off for the bad switch on the Halo65. That should _not_ have happened.edit 10/29/2023:Sadly, I have to update my review. I started using this keyboard on 10/23/2023. It's only a few days later, one the keys, the "] }" key, has completely failed. I've tried everything, including returning the keyboard to factory settings, removing all of my mappings (none of which involved that key), unplugging and replugging the wireless dongle, and connecting the keyboard via USB. It's dead, Jim. Will return later today for refund, as I can obviously not trust the manufacturing quality.The $10 cheapy that I got as a backup is doing fine. The search for a good wireless keyboard starts anew.====I'm hard to please when it comes to keyboards. my work computer has a DasKeyboard attached, and I'd still choose it for that more spreadsheet oriented use.That said, this little guy feels great to type on. It has none of the toy-like feel of most keyboards these days. With the lights off, the battery should hold out for a really long time between charges. The size lets me pivot easily between my primary two monitor setup and my larger media editing monitor. If I had one reservation, it's that the space bar generates a rather loud thump compared to the other keys. Just mentioning that because it wasn't apparent in any of the review vids I watched.The main problems to overcome with the 65 layout are the missing Home, Insert, and Print Screen keys. As I'm on Windows, I'm using PowerToys to map them onto Ctrl-End, Ctrl-Del, and Ctrl-PgDn respectively. It feels very natural, and doesn't impede my workflow in the slightest.Only a day in, but I'm pretty happy overall.
